Korean uses lots of circles in their script, whereas Japanese has more sharp edges, if that makes any sense.
I can visually tell the difference, and hearing both, I can tell the difference, but don't ask me to speak eithier, or, God help me...try to READ them.

Would it make sense, then, to just remove the upside down sticker and replace it with one from reprolabels?

So long as you did not have the box...no one would be the wiser.
Bwahahahahahaha!

Thank you. Finally.
Now, that's not to say that Getter didn't get the short end of the stick on his figure. I fully believe he got a lemon out of this one. It happens.
However, in general, they are piece for piece, the real deal, same as Takara's.
Not to mention, Takara's mispackaged items before. Some figures missing accessories, some not getting their bio cards (Brave Maximus, oddly enough), and the worst part...some of the figures missing actual pieces off of their bodies. (I'm looking at *YOU* "Masterpiece" Starscream, what with your missing fingers and all...)
Any company can screw up.
Could be I did get the crap one. This brings up an interesting point as to where things are made. Like why does Takara versions of US figure have better paint apps. Wouldn't it be cheaper to run a production once, instead of two seperate runs with variances? And why the variance in stinckers with Brave Max...you'd actually have to do extra work to make that happen.
Definitely an interesting question for Hasbro at BotCon!

Better you than me. I'd probably get thrown in an asylum for having 3 of them. You won't be disappointed.
Since I don't have one, I figured I'd give it a shot. If I regret it later I'll just resell it and either recoup the cost or make a little change on it.
Besides, I've been working on making a Transformers city display for my WSTs and Legends size figures. This will make for a substantially bigger setup than just having Metroplex.
Nice! Is this your first Maximus? If so, becareful of the knee joints, I've caught my fingers many time and he;s one heavy sucker! Enjoy it!
Yep! First one and probably only one unless I'm not satisfied with the Korean version.
I still can't believe I just spent that much on a single Transformer, especially since I'm going to Botcon in a few days. Oh well.
Nah, it will be good. When you get it in your hands, you'll see why he is so impressive. It's the king of all figures, the US Flag of action figures. Small children fall over when they try to transform him!

Hurry or I'm gonna make that Brave #3.
By the way, thanks for posting that, most people keep good deals for themselves. I was tempted, but I'm trying to hold out to BotCon, ut I'm glad one of our guys got it!

It will be fine, the only difference is the sticker. The figure is awesome!

Yes, thanks for posting this. When I buy on eBay I prefer a straight Buy-it-now over bidding wars. I do see that this figure has sold for less recently, but not by much.
I'm looking forward to getting this big guy.

I have a Korean Brave Maximus (at least, that's what the seller was claiming) and the Autobot sticker is right-side up. And the Sonokong stuff is just as good as the Takara stuff. Big Convoy, BB/Starscrem, BW Neo stuff, BW2 stuff, Brave Max, Brave, all the ones I have/had are/were top-notch in quality.

I have a Korean Beast Wars 2 Galvatron and it is perfect, so I'm not worried about the Korean quality.
