I'm glad that I was able to grab some of these 3.75 vehicles in re-issue form at TRu in the last 5 years...
Off the top of my head:
warthog
rattler
conquest
hydrofoil
snowcat
As I said, if only I had room to display them.

that's a lucky find tracks.

Everyone needs to keep three things in mind with remolds for 25th figures.
1) At 1/4 inch taller, not every Joe or Cobra vehicle will work.
2) A number of classic molds have been lost, or were lent to Funskool and destroyed, or altered for various reasons.
3) We will NEVER see a reissue Terrordrome, Defiant or Flagg ever.

I wouldn't buy it. If they were official releases
I could really see myself getting sucked into
buying a Terrordrome of Defiant. Anything less would be
just some other big playset. I could never truly accept
it as an official Joe or Cobra base.
I would love to see new bases though. Like a Cobra snow mountain base or something of the like.

How much were they back in the day? I've been researching TF prices through my family and came to find out that they weren't as expensive as I first thought.

I'm not sure how much they were. But I know individual figure prices are about double what they used to be. I remember the
Defiant was pricey for a kids toy.

Careful, Chief, I said Animated Blitzwing. The concept art we've seen of him sort of looks HISS-ish. At least, I remember it looking HISS-ish...

I would love to see the original Joe HQ rereleased. I had it, as well as the battle platform, and they were fantastic. Playsets aren't what they used to be. The Joe hovercraft was cool, I remember getting two as gifts. Destro's Dominator would be awesomel, seeing as I broke my cousin's a few years back and I owe him. There's a plethora of vehicles that deserve another day in the sun. And for even more nostalgia, Hasbro is having another mail away figure promotion that involves sending in certificates and shipping and handling. Can't remember what fig it is, but I'm glad the concept is back.

The figure is Doc, who for some reason is missing his stretcher...

Oh, and he's only available in the States, it seems.

The problem with knock offs is the same problem Hasbro has with them...cost G.I. Joe would need to hit EPIC sales for Hasbro to consider a product that would retail at those prices.
Honestly odds are were talking low end price which would likely be Terrordrome, I picture $250 starting price for the Terrordrome maybe $300+, if they reissued. I don't even wanna think what Defiant or Flagg would retail at.
Knockoff are possible, but not likely, and as said above... I want me a real Drome.
It makes me sad too.

Kinda makes you realize how much toys have increased in cost lately. Nowadays, a single carded Joe runs at $5.99. I remember the Hiss Tank was priced below 10 bucks back in the day.

Couldn't agree more. I always loved the mail-away idea even though my parents would never let me do so back in the day. Now as an adult, if the option still existed I'd mail away for every single thing they offered. What a great concept, and it should be brought back.

Quoted again. If you follow that link for the X-19 Phantom it says the retail price was $20. I had that as a kid, and that thing was huge!! IF you consider nothing but the sheer size, the Star Wars ARC-170 fighter is $40, and is half the Phantoms' size. And that's just vehicles....figure prices are outrageous in comparison to what they used to be.

The mail in is from the new comic packs coming. It is either 5 or 6 certificates that come with each pack that you mail in for the 25th Anniv. Doc. Send them in with a check for shipping. The fig looks good too.

Actually he is not missing the stretcher. In the newest Joe club mag, they show him--the send away version--, and he clearly has his stretcher, and that grenade launching gun thing that he originally had 'back in the day'.

Well, I buckled down and started collecting the 25th anniversary figs. I have the first Joe set, as well as Zartan, Lady Jaye, and Serpentor. Just found out that they are releasing the gold headed Destro, sans Despoiler, and Battle Armor Cobra Commander, ala DIC cartoons. The upcoming waves look extremely promising. Can't wait for the Crimson Twins. Now if they could only release Sgt. Slaughter, then I'd be golden.

Maybe the collector's club put special weapons with him to make him look closer to the old, but one would assume if he is pictured with them, he'd come with them...
Yeah, it was probably something more altruistic like that, to let someone know where he and the wounded needing help were. It's just a huge flare gun...

I'd love to know why they are bringing back the SHARC and not giving us Deep Six with it. Grand Slam (that picture actually looks like Flash) being included makes no sense.

Being that it is a repaint of FLASH well, you have your answer.
As to why, who knows? If anything they could wait until they did a 25th TORPEDO and repaint it as DEEP SIX, or WET SUIT, and include it with the SHARC.
