basicly this is a origin for the combaticons i came up with over the past couple days that draws on a mix of both g1 cartoon and comic continuity but also borrows some bit from rid as well as the wings of honor continuity



In attack of the autobots megatron managed to reprogram optimus prime and his fellow autobots to be evil like the decepticons

and in a prime problem megatron actually went so far as to actually clone optimus prime and starscream

and in the master builders the constructicons at the very least considered betraying megatron and joining their fellow albut enemy allied master builders hoist and grapple as they considered grapples offer until megatron easedropped on them and got wise to their thoughts on the matter

imagine for a moment how season 2 would have played out over time if it had actually explored storyline elements from those earlier episodes in the time leading up to starscreams brigade?

to be honest i actually think it would have been a very interesting idea for megatron to have created a final optimus prime clone but with this clone developing to become its own character over time so that while he would have all of optimus primes abilities intelligence and wisdome as a warrior and a leader this decepticon prime would also have all of megatrons lust for power and desire for conquest


basicly nemesis prime would be the evil hybrid clone connor kent to optimus primes superman and megatrons lex luthor.


the clone would start out being slavishly loyal to megatron at first but over time would develop his own free will and ambition to the point of allying with starscream agaisnt megatron

much to megatrons regret megatron would have wrought all to well in his desire to create a true decepticon version of his enemy optimus prime


for all intents and purposes this character would be a true generation 1 nemesis prime modeled entirely after scourges character from Transformers RID

starscream himself would use the constructicons to have his body rebuilt into a entirely new body while the constructicons would also create a clone of starscream

starscream would use the starscream clone to fake his own death in a fight to the death with megatron in which the starscream clone and nemesis prime tag team megatron

megatron defeats nemesis prime destroys the starscream clone and banishes nemesis primes stasis locked body to deep space for eternity with starscream secretly pursueing him from a safe distance with megatron entirely unaware of the matter


with the continueing storyline seeing starscream in his new body and life develope for himself a new identity called Explorer as he makes his way to cybertron with nemesis primes stasis locked body

explorer revives nemesis prime through reformatting his body to that ofa rather poowerful micromaster form and the two manage to break into the decepticon detention center to steal the personality components and sparks they will use to give the combaticons new life on earth

they then bust into shockwaves citidel raid it for experimental combiner technology then hop the spacebridge to earth and use the military vehicles on the island to create the actual bodies for the combaticons

from there they would raid a military base or two for weapons and also to insure that each combaticon can modernise their ww2 vehicle mode form to a more present day vehichle mode form with explorer experimenting on both himself and scourge and the combaticons to gift each of them with the abiltiy to become a 7 member combiner team

a combiner team in which explorer's armored flying wing vehicle form would serve as bruticus's chest and breastplate armor so that explorer can share joint control of the combiner body with nemesis prime and onslaught

this would also insure that if any kind of debilitating injury is done to bruticus's head body or limbs all 7 of their minds would be stored intact in exploreres body with explorer himself serving as a way to successfully store a living copy of each of their minds anbd personalities in a safe non corrupted state should any one of them experieince the death of their own personel body as a individual

while nemesis prime himself would be the headmaster unit and would form the head of the bruticus combiner mode with the result being that the combined form of bruticus would be both incredibly strong as well as execptionally intelligent for a combiner form

this would make it possible for the much more intelligent bruticus combiner form to have all the best qualities of nemesis prime and explorer put together with explorers ego being kept in check by both onslaught and nemesis prime

mind meld wise while in combiner form brawl swindle blastoff and vortex would provide secondary audio visual sensory information which explorer would analyse with onslaught and nemesis prime formulating strategy based off the information on the spot

basicly as a combiner team think of this version of bruticus as being the smart hulk computron of the decepticon combiners

with the remainder of season 2 seeing starscream the combaticons a heavily upgraded bruticus and nemesis prime go on to become a serious threat to both megatron decepticon and autobots alike

I'm sorry, but I had a bit hard time understanding this story.

As far as I understand: Megatron makes clones of Optimus, named Nemesis Prime, and Starscream. Nemesis becomes sentient and attacks Megatron with Starscreams clone. Nemesis is put away, but is broken free by someone named Explorer. They steal some personality components and sparks from a detention center to create Combaticons from modernized WWII vehicles. They all can combine to bruticus. Nemesis is a Headmaster unit. Bruticus is intelligent and can use Swindle, Blast-Off, Brawl and Vortex as audio-visual sensory so that Explorer can formulate strategies to counter in hostile attempt or action.

But I read Nemesis Prime. He wasn't a Combaticon. If you remember in "Starscream's Brigade", then Bruticus was not intelligent, he was almost as stupid as ROTF Devastator; the only difference is that Bruticus could speak.

But then again I didn't quite have a blast with G1 Combaticons: Blast-Off as a shuttle didn't work for me.

Otherwise good story.

Make the Combaticon's renegades or AWOL Decepticon soldiers going against the High Commands orders. After capture, are court marshaled and reduced to their "spark cores" or proto forms which Starscream eventually steal and implant onto new bodies for him to command as new troops..........simple, plausible scenario.

this is meant to serve as a what if scenario

consider this a alternate origin storyline for the combaticons

a kind of alternate continuity that i put together which is rooted in g1 cartoon continuity season 2 but with things playing out a bit differantly over time concerning the origin of the combaticons on earth .

one that draws on storyline elements from attack of the autobots , a prime problem , the master builders and starscreams brigadeand at the same time provides a suitable origen story for nemesis prime as a transformers character in this version of the g1 cartoon continuity

nemesis prime serves as the leader of this rogue decepticon unit

hence the name combaticons the ycombat they fight the main decepticon forces under megatrons command.

nemsis prime asa a sentient clone of optimus prime has all of optimus primes wisdome logic and intelligence and cunning and life experieince

but like optimus prime because nemesis prime is a complete clone of optimus primes person.

nemesis also has a personel bond to the matrix and can also access its wisdom of the ages


explorer is starscream in a new body with a new identity and new name

when all 7 combine as bruticus bruticus has 3 minds directing his every action with onslaught in complete control of bruticus's body arms and legs

as bruticus swindle and brawl who form his legs

and vortex and blast off who form his arms

they hand over complete control of the bruticus body to onslaught.


with the 4 limb bots serving as both power up armor for bruticus and also as secondary audio sensors and optic snesors

basicly they serve asa entirely secondary set of eyes and ears for bruticus

while explorer and nemesis prime examine all the information gathered from the 4 limb bots audio sensors and optic sensors and together with onslaught formulate strategy on the fly

basicly the minds of onslaught explorer and nemesis prime are synchronized with eachother int o a single shared super mind but with onslaught being in complete control of the brfuticus body

much like how megaoctane is the one completely controling the decepticon commandoes combiner form of ruination from transformers rid

I prefer the orginal origin better.

I never felt the constructicons considered betraying Megatron at all.I always felt they were faking it.

I agree with stovokor. The only time the Constructicon really "betrayed" Megatron was when he got chucked out of Astrotrain.

The "visual" throwing out of Megs in the movie probably deactivated a trip wire in their loyalty programing thus offering themselves as a suitable "leader".
