and it raises an intresting question.... what if they DID use the matrix to wake up prime...
Let prime squeeze the predacons into a bloody pulp, disassemble the dormant decepicons including megatron and melt them down, fire up teletran one, repair the other autobots, build a ship, load it with energon ,go back to cybertron, eliminate shockwave and the other remaining decepticons ,their not gonna be a problem against all of the ark crew under prime's command

End of the war, end of the decepticons, never any of the events in G1, prime never dies, everyone lives happy ever after on a cybertron glooming with energon from the still primitive earth.

and where all gonna need a new hobby.....

And yeah, it does raise the questions of "what if?" But I find the simplest things usually make for the funniest and pointing out the OBVIOUS is a great way to make a parody of something!

One of the best satirical pieces i have ever read/seen... about any subject.... the fact that its transformers only helps in the appeal

If bumbling crybaby Hotrod could defeat unicron...how much trouble you think prime's gonna have?

Prime leads the fight against unicron.... prime uses the matrix....*boem* ....unicron head floats around cybertron and is turned into an amusement park

Whoa, thanks! It remains one of my fav shows so it will continue to pop up in my comedies but it won't stay limited to it... but it's still my fav kind to make!

Thanks... and to those of you whose head is going to explode from all of the nods, save some for the next videos! There will be so many nods in the future episodes of Unsolved that you will think it is the Roxbury brothers head-banging to "What Is Love!" =)

That was hilarious. It's like, looking at the same thing, cept from a non-fans view (the view of Optimus, not understanding anything) Anf the Touch... the way it was in there was brilliant. Along with the constant waking up from dreams. That was just prime.

I'm glad someone liked "The Touch" showing up! That was a last second idea I had while adding music and sfx. I was like "what if 'The Touch' starts playing and then just stops when Optimal interrupts and then starts back up again? That would be funny!"

That was kind of the whole point. I always wondered back even before I saw the first "Rude Awakening" how Prime was up to speed on everything around him after so much had taken place since he'd died! Wouldn't he be confused and irritable and just angry!?! And it was kind of like having Optimal being the "straight guy" and Prime being the funny guy. There was a lot that got cut for different reasons. Megatron was going to say "Well... I'm... rubber and you're glue!" before the "You're momma" joke, because he ran out of quotes to use... but it was cheesy and just added time to the overall video. Waspinator was also in the original for just one line and Rattrap had more lines, but they either didn't add too the video or just weren't funny enough. I didn't really want to leave the "momma" joke in, but I just loved the video that went with it and it was really the only line that fit with it. I spent HOURS compiling scenes of Optimal and I just didn't want to waste all that work. Sorry about the varying backgrounds, but I noticed myself focusing so much on the mouth sync that I didn't even notice the backgrounds, so what the heck.

Funny outweighs accuracy in my book... plus there are plenty who love 'em and plenty who hate 'em, but I don't think anyone doubts that I can do voicework... whether they are "spot-on" or otherwise. I have plenty of pro's telling me that any bad impression can still be a great character voice ALL your own.

My goal was to give everyone at least a big smile and hopefully some good laughs. It's just like wrestling... for entertainment purposes only! =)

I still like the original too. Heck, without it, this wouldn't have been possible! SMOOV was in the loop back in the conception stage and he approved and was supportive the whole way. I popped this bad boy out in less than two weeks while in college full-time and working full-time with a family of 6 (including me)! So not bad! But extra SPECIAL thanks goes to Randall Randomusprime... he created the new CG scenes in a miraculously short amount of time! Amazing work from an amazing dude.

But back to my point, it was never meant to be funnier... just to compliment the original and to add another layer to it, I guess you'd say. It was the original concept for a different series... or seriesessessses... what's the plural for series... if you include the twist ending!

So no offense taken! Glad people are getting entertained! It made my miserable Thanksgiving a little better knowing that people liked it.
