Boondocks is really good but you have to look past the coarse language and other things to understand the whole show is a satire on percieved culture. Each character is a personified stereotype put into one small location to get laughs on those interactions.

Yes the n-word is used and even in the show they talk about when and why its being used. Usually Grandad scolding Riley for using it then Riley tries to explain it to grandad that he wasn't cursing.

If you are a sensitive person you will not like nor understand the show. If you have a little bit of a thick skin I recomend seeing a full episode or two before passing judgement.

Look im black and I here alot of black kids say n-i-g-g-a alot. Its a cultural word nowadays.

I've never found the show funny. I require my comedy to have more than just foul language and racial slurs mixed in.

Besides, it always depends on the person's preference. I don't like it or find it funny. No problem with that. A lot of people find it funny and enjoy it. No problem with that.

Just agree to disagree and move on.

This could be a thread for those who like the show to tell what parts they like and answer questions for those who feel a need to ask. Making it a pro/con thread could lead into bad territory...

And I thought the "N-word" was filtered on here?

Can't say I'm a fan of it, but I'll watch once in a while if nothing else is on. Huey is the only good thing about that show.
