I do not believe what I just did
I was at my neighborhood Target and I decided to peek at the toy section to see what TFs were there.
When I stepped onto the aisle, I saw all those movie toys, just packing the shelves. All of a sudden I felt like I was living one of those dreams where you turn down an aisle and it's 1985 again, with TFs as far as the eye can see.
My heart started beating a little faster, and I started practically throwing TFs into my cart, getting one of every character. I shouldn't have spent the money, but I couldn't help myself, it was the next best thing to that recurring dream.
The way I figure, if the movie sucks, I can always take them back. But if the movie is great, I'll be glad I did what I did today.
But I just wanted to share that. It was a great 10 minutes.

I think you did the right thing. I bought all the ones that were out (except for Swerve, and the FAB stuff) before the movie comes out. Why? Because once that bad boy hits the big screen, those full shelves and pegs will be empty (except for maybe the Protoforms). Every kid, or kid at heart will want one then more than now.

I wish I had that kind of money. But I don't think they'll run out when the movie is out. They'll just shift production into overdrive.

I spent around $280 on the launch day for the figures, so your definetly not alone in this.

I spent well over $200.00 for the entire movie cast, but after playing the game, I might be getting more...damn you Swindle!

I've had that dream. Except I was in a lighthouse and it was full of mint G1 stuff. I was quite disappointed when I woke up.
So far I have only spend about £120 on movie figures. Two leaders and 4 voyager class. Im tempted to nip up TRU again today and pick up some of the smaller figures but I have no room! Last night I boxed up a load of figures that were on display but I still dont have much room left.

Hell they're already empty around me. Voyager Ratchet and Wreckage were a pain in the @$$ to get. And I haven't seen Robo vision Prime since the toys launch day.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

I'm buying way to much for my budget. I just hope I'm not falling for he Star Wars prequel spell all over again. Spending hundreds of dollars on figures a month before I find out the movie sucks!
And I did it ALL THREE times!
