Enterprise is very hit or miss. The good episodes knock it out of the park, but the bad ones..... yeah. Overall, I enjoyed it more than I didn't.

I think I may be the last person on Earth who hasn't seen Game of Thrones, and yet for some reason I can't bring myself to fix that problem.

I watched the 1st 2 episodes and quit. I do like the theme song, though.Shadowman wrote:I think I may be the last person on Earth who hasn't seen Game of Thrones, and yet for some reason I can't bring myself to fix that problem.

I have a suggestion on what NOT to watch.
Dr Ken (starring Ken Jeong (of Hangover fame)
It was terrible. The jokes were forced, the laugh track was forced even more so. It was just bad.

Preview for that show looked terrible. That's not surprising to hear.
Amazon.com was having a game of thrones digital sale this past week... I think it was 67 cents an episode for the first four seasons. It may still be going on. If there ever was a time to start watching, now is the time to do it.

I've been watching the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon and I think it's one of the best incarnations.

Need to catch up on S1 of the Flash before I can even start S2, on the fence about bothering with Arrow S4. On the anime side of things just saw the first episode of Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans. A strong opening episode I thought.

I've yet to watch episode 1 of season 4 of Arrow myself! although the show is usually a slow burner! but granted it's had some great characters & the odd action episode.

I watched the season premiere of Arrow last night and I thought it was a good start. To me, it definitely looks like the tone of the show has changed to something a little more lighthearted. There was more humorous banter and not as much super-seriousness/melodrama. There is some classic Arrow darkness at times but it didn't seem to detract from the rest of the episode. Overall, I thought it was a solid start - maybe not a fantastic start, but still good.
Oh, and keep an eye out for the flashback in the bar for a big DC Easter egg

Was that all it was, a flashback? Not an actual character debut?

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, as soon as the scene starts, it's right in your face for about two seconds and then the camera pans away. You know who it is and it's pretty cool, but it's really nothing more than a tease.

Saw Sicario a few days ago. Very good film. Benicio Del Toro should get another Oscar for his performance. (Not that I put any merit in those awards.)

Well that and, in Flash, it was all but confirmed that his origin story has at least started, if only off screen.

It was "Jordan." As in, Green Lantern Hal Jordon.

When they're preparing to move the Metahumans late in Season 1, they try to get them on a plane at Ferris Airfield. That alone is a reference to Green Lantern, but one they've been making since Season 1 of Arrow. The clincher is when someone mentions that the airfield was shut down, Barry responds with "Yeah, after that test pilot disappeared."
