Courtesy of Cybergundam Blog, we have a plethora of upcoming United EX Masters revealed, which is Takara's version of Power Core Combiners. We have six new five-packs to be released, and two two-packs to be released. The five-packs have new color schemes, and a glossy paint scheme. The first is EX 03 Road, a repaint of Mudslinger and the Destructicons. The second is EX 04 Grimm, a repaint of Grimstone and the Dinobots. EX 05 Race is a repaint of Double Clutch and the Rallybots, decked all out in red. Lastly EX06 and EX07 have no planned color schemes yet, but they are repaints of Steamhammer and the Construticons, and Crankcase with the Destrons.

The two-packs feature repaints of Icepick and Skyhammer, with new mini-con repaints of Chainclaw and Airlift. Lastly we have no planned colorscheme for the last two-pack, but they will feature Heavytread and Undertow.

These sets are planned for release in October and November;

Never did find the Constructicon and Destron sets in retail. The Constructicon set was going to be my placeholder Classics Devastator until I could actually find the Wal*Mart giftset, and the Destrons as my Classics Menasor with some swapped-out limbs from the Rallybot set.

I don't have much from this line mainly by choice. I do have the Constructicon set and really enjoy it for what it is. My son had the Dinobot set. He's nine and loves dinosaurs so it was a no brainer.

The new colors on the other sets do nothing for me as I don't think the designs were ever good enough to buy initially.

The Mudslinger redeco looks nice with a uniform color scheme, but nothing can save the Rallybots from being terrible. I find it odd that the one group that needed a uniform color scheme didn't get one. I'm talking about the Constructicons. I just KNEW they were going to get the neon green and purple colors they deserved... :-(

I really like the new colour schemes, uniformed or not. They're not enough to make me want to cough up for them though.

if they repaint undertow like Octopunch I will buy it. For whatever price they ask. Probably. the other ones all look pretty nice too.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

So three sets are indeed basically identical to the USA editions? Is that confirmed, or could these be early mockups... final colors coming later. Hmmmm. :-?

The Grimstone & Dinobots look largely identical to the US version, but I can tell you the last three images are just US stock photos, pose and all, so the colors are not final.

And I sincerely hope Double Clutch has his issues properly fixed this time.

While I'm a bit overwhelmed by such a load of new PowerCore bots... I am excited that these probably aren't the final colors of the construction team. If they were Devastator gren/purple color, I'd be STOKED. Immediate buy if they do it.

green/purple did seem to be an obvious repaint option for the construction guys. wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if we got a green Sledge at some point too, although that orangey looking one is pretty nice.

exactly!! I can't understand why Hasbro/Takara don't make definite plans to release EVERY construction vehicle in that scheme. Mudflap comes to mind.

They don't do it because todays kids, for the most part, don't know a thing about the G1 Constructicons. They (Hasbro) are going for the money, not the overall pleasing of the fans and the youth outnumber us "oldtimers" by a substantial amount. The only green Hasbro wants to see is what comes out of parents wallets.
