Okay, someone help me out here.
I was once again looking at TF's/G.I. Joe Vol. 3. I got to that panel where Serpentor is looking at the history of Cybertron. I get it all but one piece: Optimus Primal. Where does he ever come into the G1 universe? Unless the Matrix shows the future where he is Maximal leader, (in which Soundwave views this somehow), he doesn't belong there!! This is the G1-iverse, yes? Someone tell me where Primal makes an appearance in the G1 Devil's Due Comics & I'll be satisfied.

I'd assume that idw tied in what took place in beastwars, as it would technically of been the past!

this came up somewhere. The writers said its because Teletraan logged the Maximal's use of systems from the beast wars.

Well then, that's kind of odd. The Maximals accessed Teletraan after the Transwarp explosion, so everyone that was granted a Transmetal body (Including Primal) should have appeared to Teletraan as such. Oh well.

yes but remember that the Maximals reverted to their organic forms in Beast Machines. Their organic forms must've been in there somewhere (how would hte mutation know what the beast mode would look like). Maybe Teletraan only logged their pure forms, not what were essentially mutated formsDecepticlone Soundwave wrote:Well then, that's kind of odd. Okay. How would the Ark register forms it didn't see? Although it's true that the Maximals returned to Cybertron on an Autobot shuttle, they didn't revert back to their original BW bodies until after they left the shuttle & were struck w/the transformaton virus. Even if the Autobot shuttle registered anything & transmitted it back to Teletraan-1, it would have recorded the Transmetal forms of the Maximals as well as Megatron.

No no no, not what I meant.Decepticlone Soundwave wrote:Okay. How would the Ark register forms it didn't see? I'm saying that WITHIN the bodies of the Transformers is the information that dictated what their organic body's looked like. Like a strand of DNA, and this information does not alter. Any alteration that isn't of Cybertronian doing doesn't register on that information as its seen as outside influence, rather than that of the bot. In this case, the outside influence was the transwarp. Teletraan only read off the pure information about their bodies, ignoring the added alien mutation.
All nonsense of course but its how I see it

Actually that makes sense. It reminds me of the Vok & how they only registered the Transmetal aspect of the Maximals & Predacons inside their base. It completely ignored the Cybertronian tech & only recogized their tech. Got it.
