Newbie on the board asking if anyone else here has grabbed one of these unoficial
chinese quints and do they even interest anyone since they do not transform. =)

I did some months back...
http://www.kooltoyz.ca/quintesson.htmlAdded some black paint to the grooves thus OMG ruining the collector value but it looks better now!
Original paint job is kida hasty!
Also thought if this toy might contain the dreaded lead paint? =)

I have one of these already. If you like the Quintessons I can't recommend it enough.
The base lights up red, its cartoon accurate, sturdy, excellent mold.
One of the best "unofficial" toys EVER made.
They are only going to get harder to find and more expensive if you wait around.
I paid $29 for mine on Ebay. WELL worth it IMO.
How has Hasbro gone so long without making this figure? WTF?

Maybe official Quintesson would be something for the Universe/Classics 2.0 line. It's not all too repaintable, but should be cheaper to produce, seeing the lack of transformability.
