sticker application

Postby shortround » Fri Mar 30, 2007 11:28 pm

I was wondering since I have never seen a topic on this subject. I was wondering how or if people apply the sticker sheets to there reissue transformers. Since I haven't had think about this sort of thing for awhile since I have stuck to engeron and cybertron figures mostly. But since getting two reissue lately I thought about how people manage to get the sticker to look that good is there some secret technic or is just lot and lot of practice. So I was hoping that people might be willing to share there secrets for perfect sticker application with myself and others.

Get yourself a nice sticker application tool, like the kind that scrapbooking companies sell. It usually has a flat, thin end and a pointy end for removing old stickers. It's easy to put a sticker on the flat end and position it exactly the way you want it before pressing it down. It's helped me make my G1 fixer-uppers look great!

The tool will help, but alot of people do it by hand, practice. I do so since I am use to applying Vinyl flames, and also other designs on cars without the air pockets forming, plus i got a good hand with jigsaw.
