Teng Yang "Dinobot G1 Combiner" review

Motto: "Better than dinosaurs and robots, just robot dinosaurs."
Weapon: Electro-Sword
Today I bring you my impressions of this interesting KO, in which the manufacturer used the Seacons as a base to make a version of the Dinobots if they were a combiner at the time of G1. This version follows the color scheme of the originals.

In dinosaur mode, they have a cute SD/Chibi appearance. They all have the basic articulations of the limbs and mouth (except Snarl), and Slag and Swoop have the bonus of rotating their heads 360 degrees (thanks to the transformation).

The robot mode faithfully follows the proposal of the Piranacon components: stocky bodies without separate legs (except Swoop) and tiny heads, because they are the sockets of the limbs in the combiner's body. They only have articulations in the arms, but Swoop can move his legs and Slag can rotate his waist. They all have weapons.

The combiner mode is very reminiscent of the Piranacon, with a well-distributed look, despite the long limbs. It has very firm joints, with movement in the arms (forward and sideways), rotation in the left wrist, legs (forward) and waist. Just like Volcanicus from the Legacy line, Slag is the central piece. The only extra pieces to be added are the head and four-fingered hands.

The head resembles Predaking's, but in a "Bumblebee-yellow" color, with sunglasses and a smile. :D

As for the weapons, there are several pieces that can be fitted together and combined in various ways, increasing the fun (in the same system as the Dino Combiner from TFC Toys). They form a sword and a rifle for the combiner. All five figures have multiple attachments throughout the body that allow the weapons to be attached in various places. Unfortunately, the attachment pins are thinner and do not fit Hasbro's toys.

In short, it's a cheap, simple but very fun toy, with a more resistant plastic than it appears; ideal for those who like Dinobots but embrace and understand the context of the limitations of a toy that aims to emulate the 1984 Transformers. :) :)

I still have doubts about what to name the combiner, maybe "DINOSOR" ;)
