The best Comics ever!
- Motto: "Don't do drugs, beer's cheaper anyway!"
Now a lot of us read comics, ad everyone has his/her personal favorites.
This is were you tell us which you like best and why you think so.
My list:
1.Spider-Man Reign: real good storytelling, nice and dark set in the future, sad, lets you think of the "good old days", some good humor, a nice and mature story rounded up with a realy good and fitting art stile.
2. Spider-Man Doc Ock year one: Set during the beginning of the Spider-Man epos, other then the time pretty much the same reasons as above.
3. Marvel Zombies: The same as mentioned before.
4. Toxin: Devil you know: Nice story, showing a fresh new charecter and givving him a origin as no charecter in any comic has ever had, plus unforgettable moments such as "Pat, what is HiFi"
5. Marvel/ Stephen King The Black tower the Gunslinger born: Damn good story, brilliant artwork, no gags, nice and philosophic, makes you fear for the characters, you just want more.
6. Marvel Amazing Fantasy 15: Need I say more then the beginning of an eara, the begining of a new kind of Superhero, the beginning of the one and only Spider-Man?
7. idw Transformers: How could I have forgotten about that? I have no favorite story arc here, I just love them all so very mutch, brilliant stories, fit nicely together, good characters the best TF humans ever.
8.DW Transformers vs GiJoe: Briliant art, nice and dark story, gotta love the characters, a definite ending.
There are a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooot more, but I'm just to lazy to list them now.
So what do you consider worth reading?

I always loved New Warriors from the 90s. I'd recommend this current volume, but, meh... it's not really doing it for me.

In a Galaxy Far Far Awry issue 1: Serial Fiction Sideshow now for sale.
Issue 2: Home Sweet Home Invasion also for sale.
Back issue 3: Technophobia coming soon. And you can help!

invincible- anyone who is knot reading this, try it. they actually just recently released a series re-cap for new readers in issue 50 (i think)
detective comics (when paul dini is writing!!)- it is basically a new season of "batman: the animated series"
marvel zombies- one of the most darkly funny stories ever. robert kirkman also writes invincible^^^.
dark knight returns- one of frank millers finest works. this one has always had a special place in my heart.

5. Y: The Last Man - I know we have 2 more issues left but it's an incredible journey of the last dude on Earth surrounded by women.
4. Blankets - The best romance book I've ever read. Everyone can relate because it touches upon the motions of your first love. If you don't... you have no heart.
3. Superman: Secret Identity - It's unofficially considered an Elseworld, but it's the best Superman story I've ever read. "What if Superman was a real person in our world?" It's a beautiful story of a guy named Clark Kent (after the "fictional character") waking to discover he has superpowers and how he deals with it.
2. Green Arrow: Archer's Quest - Probably my favorite superhero story in the 2000's. Ollie just came back from the dead and he's on a journey to find his most personal belongings. Awesome book.
1. Daredevil: Born Again - I like Dark Knight Return, but this is Frank Miller at his finest. It's the ultimate underdog story: we watch Matt Murdock's life being destroyed by the Kingpin and his struggle for redemption.
Along with the books other's have mentioned I recommend Invincible and The Walking Dead. One is a fun take on a teenage superhero and the other is a zombie movie that never ends.

Since some of my picks have already been named, here are the rest of them:
Runaways - by BKV and Joss Whedon
Captain America by Brubaker and Epting
Green Lantern - by Johns
New Avengers - by Bendis
add all of those to my list!

runaways by whedon wasn't doing anything for me at first, but i have definitely warmed up to it. new avengers SO much better than "mighty" because it is coming out consistently and not dragging behind the rest of the Marvel universe. i'm liking ALL of the GL series and tie-ins right now! sinestro corps. FTW!!!!

I like the Ultimates, Astonishing X-Men and Zombies too!
I'm still waiting to read dark Tower in its entirety, still no time yet.
I would have wanted to try Invincible, too bad my LCS doesn't carry much independent titles

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8.
I agree that the War Within series is really interesting. I haven't finished reading the second graphic novel though.
Also there's an upcoming continuation of the Angel TV series called Angel: After the Fall. I can't wait for that series!
