So, Movie trilogy Optimus Prime's been popping up everywere right? Iv'e seen him a couple times. Just today though, I actually picked up the box and examined it. On the bottom, there were 3 "Also Available" figures.
2 of them (A bumblebee repaint and a ratchet repaint) I could care less about.
One of them however, got under my skin. The DOTM Soundwave. The black repaint! That means that, not only was hasbro planning on releasing the original much earlier, but right around now is when we should be getting the repaints as well! What happened? I know the line was cancelled, but a little bit of work, like removing soundwave from the "Also Available" list of figures would be a nice thing to do, right? Hasbro... I am dissapoint....

It's not the first time something like that has happened, nor will it be the last

It's more than just a "little bit of work". That box art would have been prepared and off to the printers months in advance.

Why dont they do what they did with generations blackshadow and junkheap those two were random .

They should push out a couple here and there even if it was just to finish the DOTM line

Those trilogy figures if only gonna be sold in japan will probably go for about 30-35 like vortex and skywarp which is a shame at least those were exclusives and not part of a retail line we should have had.

I just paid £23 for dotm soundwave i think thats ok but i put a couple of bids on ebay for que now £37 and leadfoot pushing 30 and for the lack of paint and size on these guys 40 is a bit harsh.

Nothing Hasbro does surprises me anymore, their ineptitude is legendary!

Were they really random? I suppose that explains why there seemed to be so few when they hit the shelves...interesting.

Angers me, too. I couldn't care less about Bumblebee, but Soundwave? Gimme!

Basically, Hasbro is giving you the middle finger. You're not used to it yet?
