I hate the work, but love the results. There is something nice about lording over the yard while flesh chars on the grill.

But what kind of flesh? Have you ever noticed that herbivores taste better?

People are people and everyone likes to have their knob polished. Some of us just prefer to use vegetable based lube.

Maiden voyage of the new grill! Tried out some steak with a BBQ-ranch sauce my girlfriend recommended. Added some extra spices and garlic herb oil that I got a few weekends ago (and used for the first time) to make a glaze. Despite the look, it turned out really well! I might have gone a bit heavy with the glaze and left it on a smidge too long on the other side for the glaze (the steak itself wasn't burned), but this is the first time I've grilled in a while.

Next week, I'm planning on grilling some pizza and porkchops. Beer brats probably the week after that or so.

So I have some strawberry swirl ice cream leftover, so I mixed it up with some milk and chocolate chips for a great smoothie.

I'm thinking I might try a whiskey sour blended up with some ice and maybe smoothie mix or something else. I like having a blender and grill
