I remember back in the 80s getting the UK Transformers comic, however I was wondering if someone can help me. I remember there was a backup story featuring Iron Man and Doctor Octopus. I remember an image where Doctor Octopus rips off Iron Man's chest plate.

Can anyone tell me what story this was and what issues this was featured in?

I've looked this up really quick whilst taking 5mins out from some decorating, so here goes...

I think the issues you are looking for are TF:UK #43-46. Iron Man was a bcak up strip in those issues, featuring a story called "Night of the Octopus".

If I'm correct they were originally printed in Marvel Fanfare #22 & #23.

I don't have time to provide links now, but look those issues up and let me know.
