The Energon Pub

I got a bug up my bum today about switching his gun to his right arm G1 style, so after I did that I ended up taking off the ice pieces on his shoulders, chest and shins and repainted him. I did the majority of him in silver metallic leaving just a couple spots the original grey. Then I went over the hands and a few areas with a copper color, then a gold color. I repainted his head and gave him red eyes instead of the blue light piping. I also gave him a quick wash with some brown and black.

This is the first time I've ever repainted a figure and I think he turned out pretty cool so I thought I'd take some pics and share them.

Not bad at all. Pics are a bit off, but great job.
Only thing is tyou may want to and the ice on the wings to look metal, like unfrozen metal.

Yeah I tried to leave the majority of the outside wing/side silver with just some touches of blue, but I left them alone on the inside. I thought the blue was a nice backdrop from his in bot mode.

I'll try and get better pics tomorrow when the suns up. They always seem to come out a lot better in natural light.
