I was just on BBTS and found on their front page a listing for the rumored G1 DVD set coming this summer. This is probably a good sign that it's real. Here's the listing:

All I can say is... SWEET!!!

Strange I thought s1 had 17 eppies?

I am just hoping that this is a remastered edition were they clean up an fix alot of the rhino dvd box sets which had a lot of errors and miscoloring in it and sometimes it should 3 starscreams.


Think of the way of how Funimation is re-releasing the DBZ & GT Sets which have been remastered and cleaned up with a crisper picture.


If it is a summer release then I suspect it will be out in June or July maybe to coincide the release of the new move.


Also remember this is the 25th anniversary of Transformers now and this could also be some sort of special edition to commemerate the 25 anniversary of transformers.


So it is no suprise we are getting one when the series has been already done in Italy so I new we were going to get a new version eventually.


I just hope it gets available in major retail stores and available on more various websites to make it easier for us to find it.


I am now 27 and I grew up with Generation 1, I still have the rhino sets but I will get these also. I just hope that they are improved more and not just a re-released deal with nothing done or changed on it.

If that is the case I will not be getting it.

Definiely buying, unless a full series box set is also in the works. Looks like we'll have to buy each season individually though.
