i really hope they continue the classics - it's my favourite line with jetfire being close to my all time favourite toy. For all of the alternators' greatness, they're hampered by a lack of playability & relative price.

I'd like to see more cons - maybe a blitzwing...

Looking at the first day's ebay prices I'm cursing myself for not getting a loose set. Even if prices calm down a little by the time the non attendee packs go out (yeah right) they would probably still just about cover the cost of the first set, and my finances were in a reasonable (well ok, not GREAT) state when I ordered the box as well. I just didn't think I could justify the outlay when the return would be three months away. Bugbite's probably the only one of the set that's still going to be knocking around ebay for some time to come.

$270ish for the box plus I had to say goodbye to another $40 for international shipping. The extra loose set's a bit less but I can't remember quite how much having ruled it out at the time. To be completely honest I'd been holding off since the last two sets are still in stock at the Collectors Club and only placed my order when it was announced that they were about to sell out.

I absolutely have no problem with the people who could afford the set enjoying it. It's botcon/hasbro who I'm mad at. With that said... I hate you all. I WANT THOSE SEEKERS :sad:

Congrats to those who did bite the bullet. I hope they're everything they would have been if they were sold in stores.

I think that this sucks!! Hasbro will not release the Games Of Deception gift set individually in retail. Which means that I can not pick up Ramjet, Thundercracker, and Dirge. This SUCKS!!! Hasbro you SUCK!!! The Classics line is one of the best and they wont release these cool ones, unless you spend the 600.00 on Ebay or 50.00 each when in the store they go for 9.99!! I'll say it again Hasbro You SUCK!!!

WHAT?? Thundercracker is NOT a repaint of SS or SW. He is a seperate character!! You sound like my mom when I was 5. "But you already have that in black, why do you need a blue one? " Gah, thats why I never got a Thundercracker. :sad:
