Very very cool. Gonna have to grab me a HD version to drool over.

Seeing movie Prime in action is always a very beautiful thing.

edit: didn't even realise youtube had full HD vids. Downloaded it with a firefox plugin and put it on my PS3 to watch (my laptop can't quite manage full HD without some skipping). These Transformers movies really do show off HD very well.

Here's a couple of my toughts:
That was Lazerbeak
Dragon like transformer- Trypticon maybe?
Tentelces- Soundwave (from the on set pictures we know that soundwave will be appearing on earth)

Ok guys i just saw the teaser a about 30 minutes ago and i say its brilliant, but trailers always are, my thoughts on the bird like TF i say "laserbeak" and the tentacles TF funny thing is some people say its crashing but i replayed that scene over and over and noticed something huge, its not crashing its digging into the road if u watch the tentacle motion on the right u see it repeats the patern like its churning up the road and moving towards u, what the hell is that any thoughts?

If you all remember about 3 or 4 days ago when the Wal-Mart listings were posted there was this:

TRA MV3 DLX BUZZARD (UPC 65356960492)

If anything, that helps the argument that it is Laserbeak. Laserbeak was a buzzard in G1. I think the fact that he's red and black and has those two circles which seem to homage his tape-mode are further evidence of this.

HOLY SH#&. An invasion force! 'Bee and Rosie look scared out of thier minds. Optimus Prime kickass mode appears to be the Jetfire parts, his trailer, and huge weapons. I noticed a Longhaul/Payload looking robot in the one capture and I paused the trailer and saw a brown movie 1 Brawl. I think Megatron finally will meet the scrap-pile in the sky. Bring it!

Ironhide drilled those 2 "Dread" SUVs; surprised to see him go on the offense. I love the "eerie" music, maybe the planet is doomed after all. How is the government going to cover this up!

Why do people keep talking about a dragon former? Where? Are they talking about the bird that's probably Laserbeak? I'm so confused!!

All in all, looks pretty awesome, love that Laserbeak seems to be returning and the Decepticons invading looks awesome. Hopefully this won't be as big a let down as ROTF was, as it's teaser made it look more exciting then it was.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, I personally think this movie will be not be very good. From the preview I see its still hard to discern what is going on on screen because everything looks like moving garbage. In real life people can easily make out multiple objects moving at fast speeds, this has been a problem since the first movie, even in slow motion you cannot see clearly what is taking place.

In the scene with Josie/Rosie (what ever her name is) there is an exploding SUV behind her and she looks like she is going to a photo shoot; yes and I know someone will say she is looking at something more threatening than the exploding 3 ton vehicle 25 feet behind her.

The scene with Optimus flying in to the city looks like the desert scene in the second movie or even the street scene in the first movie all over again, I know I have watched this all play out before.

As a long time transformer fan I hope for the best, but it looks like much of the same. I also think we need a reboot or a string of good animated movies a long the lines of what DC is doing with their characters.

It's Rosie. And I am probably in the minority with this, but in that shot I thought she was really unattractive. I don't know if it was just the supposed terror she might have been experiencing, or just the way the scene was shot, but my immediate thought was "I want Megan back!" for nothing else than looking better than that. Rather, Megan from 2007. In RoTF she looked too fake, and if you've seen recent pictures of her, she looks very anorexic and ugly. Anyway, hopefully it was just one unflattering shot of Rosie and not a disastrous judgment call on looks by the esteemed director. *snicker* (Relax, I like Bay as the director.)

I feel sorry for the people who are already judging it based on a teaser with a strict 30 second or so limit (Superbowl and all that), or based on the previous two movies.

As for my own opinion, it's gonna be epic beyond words and a great way to close a great movie series. Shame we didn't get Unicron, but that's just a nitpick at worst.

A truly kick ass teaser trailer the action scenes looked fantastic, especially Optimus wasting those Decepticons.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a trailer that's a minute long that gives at least some clue as to the story apart from they found a Transformers ship on the moon and the Decepticons invade Chicago.

I'm disappointed to see that Silverbolt will be appearing without the rest of the Aerialbots and ditto Longhaul without the rest of the Constructicons. I know Michael Bay said there were too many robots in the last one but I disagree, just the story sucked and too many of them were silver/metallic grey so you couldn't tell the difference.

I want to see a combine battle in this movie! It would so make up for the way Devastator got absolutely punked in the first movie getting taken out with that pea shooter of a navy gun and not even being able to squash the twins.
Oh and less Military doing all the fighting this time too please. I want to see it just like this trailer shows Autobots vs Decepticons!!

Now that everyone has pretty much weighed in, I've been going through the screencaps that Ryan made and wanted to through in my two cents.

Epic awesomeness. Can't wait for a full teaser trailer...this one teased too little. I WANT MORE!

Impressions: no wonder we have so many new Autobots...they are flat out in deep trouble. At the 0:20 mark they showed the aerial shot of the attack fleet. I counted NO LESS than EIGHT Decpticon warships bombarding the city. It's a full scale, all out invasion. I can't wait to see just how huge this battle scene is going to be...we wanted giant robot war...we're getting giant robot invasion instead. Chicago is sooooo f---ed...
