Leaked Script Treatment Was Real, But Will Not Be Used...
Interesting...
Nelson, admin of Michael Bay's forums, says the treatment was real (as in not a fanfic), but will not be used.
See his post here.

Not quite how I interpret things.
Just because a fan didn't write it doesn't mean it wasn't written by someone else who has nothing to do with the movie.
I think these guys are just having fun **** with the heads of fanboys, and then sitting back to watch the fanboys harp on about things.
Fake and real are relative my friend.
Fake as in it's a treatment that won't be used? Yes.
Real as in it was not a fan who wrote it? Yes

It's like the leaked stuff for the first movie all over again. Remember when the initial story leaks about TF 1 being about a boy and his car and it would be seen more through the human's eyes? Then the powers that be were all like "NO, it's not real, it's all fake". But it was actually pretty close to what we got.
Eh, I dunno. I liked the story treatment, but who knows what we'll get.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

Where is it? Someone has to have it. I haven't read it yet, it was gone before I even knew of it.

The .pdf link exceeded bandwith so all there is(for me) is this summary.

My opinion on the treatment? IT SUCKED ROBO-WANG!
Robots don't have wangs. Anyway, I'd like to see you elaborate on what was bad about it.

According to some Nelson guy, who some mods and veterans say are reliable in this case, it was not fan-made. It was probably and early proposal. But you gotta admit that atleast it focuses on the TFs this time and get lots of action. So some ideas COULD make it in. Just not all.

Wow, that was interesting.
I'll have to give it a pass though.
But one thing I will say, that treatment gave more character development then the movie did.
I really, really hope they go a different route completely.

I'm PMing you the link to the full treatment. I hope it works.
I don't know what other route they could go though. But I hope it retains the emotional impact. It made me cry...

the script was pretty damn good and i agree prime should get better treatment but wut if its just for the 3rd movie in TF and prime finally rises to occasion i mean the script real of fake it gives me a sense of empire strike backs kinda... which would be cool...just going to have to wait and see

I personally liked it. Too bad that they will not use it. I especially liked how it sounded that Starscream would have a more Aramada-ish personality.

I'm happy about this.I don't think it did Starscream justice.
And it had some somewhat large plotholes,I won't go into detail unless some one tells me its okay too.

All kinds of ideas go into the very early "treatments" or "scriptments" or whatever.
In the first drafts of "The Star Wars", Darth Vader was a pretty minor general, of all things
