Im planning on buying this toy because im planning to get rid of Classics Deluxe Megatron. Does anyone if the red missile in the fusion cannon is removeable or if it can be removed with tools?

More info on my dilemma his missile is designed to use a plug to keep it inside a launcher and the launcher can only be separated from the arm with one screw but its glued by the seams. Has anyone ever attempted to removed a plugged missile before. Looks like only a size 8 drill piece can do it by cutting off the round head, then drill with smaller drill to reach the blockade.

May I ask what the missile removal is for?
From what I read in a review, the missile is of the push kind with a ball in the middle. You know, the kind last seen in... 2010?! Good grief, has the shooting missile gimmick been eliminated outright for so long?

I just feel like the empty barrel might be far more menacing with the comically long missile removed.

i cut off a good portion of it but so fat this is what i've figured it out. it's not a ball but it's a circular block wich has a slightly smaller diameter than the rest of the toy.
Never seen this before, the black indicates the barrel and the cutouts on the circle show how it slides. Its not a easy job.
EDIT: Looks like best solution might be cutting most of the missile off on both ends so it effectively can't be fired . Didn't like the missile poking really long way out of the barrel instead of traditional firing.

Final results are in
Step 1: Fire the missile and cut off as much off the missile as possible. The use screwdriver to push it back inside.
Step 2: Carefully use a tool to get a smooth angled cut in the other end.
This renders the remains of the ridiculous missile unable to fire, and doesn't rattle and it is quite secure
