Bloomberg has reported on the viewers ratings during last sunday nights superbowl. In their article it was reveiled that the teaser trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was ranked at 5th place in the ratings amoungst the shown commercials during the breaks. This marks the first time since 2003 that a movie trailer is listed within the overall top 10 rated commercials.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is set for release on June 26th 2009.

srange my parents was watching the entire thing from start to finish of the superbowl & they told transformers , gijoe had showed up during the commercials while i was working

When I saw the title of the thread I thought, "Fifth out of the movie trailers? That's not good..." But 5th out of ALL the commercials? Holy crap...that really is a MAJOR coup. Does anyone have any idea how huge this is going to be? I fully suspect it to rival the income of "The Dark Knight". Devastator may be big, but this movie's popularity is going to make him look tiny...

I really didn't understand the teaser and it could have been better.They should have shown Megatron returning or his eyes like the web ad.The G.I.Joe trailer was better. ;;)

it should be a very intersting run this year compaerd to last. last year it juast no comaprison who would win but this theres wolverine origins, gijoe, revenge of the fallen all the other movies dont look as good to these 3 films hitting this year it should be intersting who comes ou on top this time.
