Does anyone else find this?
Let's think about it. Jazz, being the cool, collected soul that he is, is now a badass mothaf*cka instead (sup bitches!). These characteristics, instead, are adopted by B. The earth culture fanatic although was intended to be Jazz, now seems to be, again, adopted more by B (through the use of music and gestures... even when he became the '08 camaro for the sake of style). All of this seemed to be so forced upon Jazz, for what little screen time he had, but they all really shined through when B came on. I have a feeling that the new cartoon isn't going to be any different, and since Jazz won't be coming back (maybe) in either, it's probably suffice to say that that very cool character that most of us loved is now named Bumblebee.
(SPOILERS) Bumblebee is the new Jazz

When all is said and done Bumblebee is the most personable of all the Autobots. Pretty ironic considering all the flak he got beforehand for not being the almight VW.

The way they did that scene with the VW was hilarious.

I hadn't thought of that before, but it's pretty true. I think the problem with movie Jazz, in comparison to G1, was he was more "in your face" while G1 Jazz, thanks to Scatman, had more of a laid back cool(and, on a side note, thank goodness they didn't try to have Jazz's voice being a pale imitation of his G1 voice). And 'Bee is definately a lot closer to Jazz than his original G1 version. I love both versions.
Although Jazz might show up for an episode or two on the 'toon... after all, David Kaye DID say Phil LaMarr had voiced him.
