The Megatron renders are the old version. Those boxes were printed up a long time ago.

I'm torn when it comes to the Leader Megatron - it looks good, but from looking at pics around the net, he looks to be an awful toy - no head movement, no waist movement... his poseability range is just awful. And for the money Canadians will spend on this guy (over 90$!!!) I doubt he'll be worth it..

But go ahead Ryan, try to change my mind with your photos, if you dare... you've done it before...

Don't forget that the head isn't even disguised in alt mode. I think I'm going to start calling this version Peek-a-boo Megatron.

Being a PR major, this does sound like a very well designed press kit. Far better than any I've seen! I'd like to have one just for reference, if nothing else! Hmmm.... Hunter PR. I might just have to look into them for a job.....

You know you've got a good PR company when I'm more impressed by the box than what's in it.

Anyways, I now noticed that the eye on the cardboard is almost the same as how the Beast Wars eye was used.

I want that t-shirt...I hope they sell them...

I bought a fan-made shirt at last year's Botcon. It has the police logo in the front corner of the shirt, like a crest, and it was a polo shirt. I like it, but I would like a t-shirt as well!

God I want that shirt sooooo Badly!

I just finished taking pics of Megatron in his box, then his "jet" mode, and now I'll start working on his robot mode (I dump the pictures after each sitting to verify that the pics look OK before I go on to the next phase). In the meantime, here's a teaser pic of Megatron!

Oh, and I figured out what I've been doing wrong with my camera for the past 4 months that wasn't getting the same lighting effects as my last camera. I had some friends recommend the setting the way I've been doing it for the past 4 months and I was so determined that it was the better way that I had forgotten all about the settings I used to use before. Ugh. Ah well, I caught it with Movie Megatron and with the robot modes for the upcoming Dinobot galleries (already took their box and dinosaur modes with the other camera setting).

Looking at the face, I just may have to pull out the silver paint and paint the black areas on his face. That black doesn't look good to me.

i made that exact same shirt last year lol, i use the pics that came out in the beginng of barricade on the flat bed and then i added that to punish and inslave logo under it lol .. mine was on a dark blue shirt though lol

Boy, the people who have posted pictures of Megatron on some of the other websites certainly weren't creative with posing Megatron. While I think he's a terrible Megatron still, the figure is certainly growing on me now that I've got it in my hands. I was certainly able to get some fun poses out of him and even figured out how to get his head to pose all pretty like for the pictures. Leave it to me to make a crappy figure look good.

Here's some more pics to tie you guys over for the next 24 hours until I get this gallery posted. No more Seibertron.com for me tonight ... I should've been in bed about 2 hours ago. I'm beat!

That's a pretty impressive Press Kit. I wonder if they'r buying up webmasters so they can have positive remarks about the movie. :P I understand your dilema regarding storage space. I live on a house of my own now but still I haven't figure out how to storage my collection on a nice looking way. Things get aggraviated by the lack of extra funds I could spare on a project like this. And I agree with you: Live (as I refere to anything regarding this movie) Megatron SUX big time and will keep hating it even if people gave it to me for free! >_<

Oddly enough, I'm actually starting to like that Megatron fig, especially the vehicle mode. I'm sure the robot mode could handle a few adjustments if manage to get hold of him...

And how about pics of you with the Voice Changer helmet AND the Battle Rig Blaster?
