Tokyo Movie Shinsha and "Call of the Primitives"

"Call of the Primitives" is one of my favorite episodes of Transformers. I read on a TF Wiki that there is a rumor that Tokyo Movie Shinsha animated the episode. If there is no evidence to support this claim, how did it begin? Is it because of the animation style in the episode?

Motto: "Individual freedom above all else."
Would it say that in the credits to the episode?

Nope, that's the whole problem. There is no evidence of any sort to support it. My question is more so "How did the rumor begin?" What exactly has led fans to believe it? I just find it interesting.
