Power master Optimus Prime was the first Transformer i ever owned when i turned 4 in 1987. Before that though my brother (who was 11 years older than me) had a pretty extensive collection including Jazz, Sunstreaker and Megatron.

I still have the trailer and cab of Powermaster Prime but they are not in great condition after sitting in a garage for a few years amongst other crap.

Figured this would be a good thread for my first post here on Seibertron. Love the site, been lurking for a while after joining TFans back in June, same name over there.

My first TF was way back in 1984 I think, it was a black version of G1 Ironhide. I don't remember if it was a true Transformer or a KO, but I do recall the word "Diacron" on the box, which may have been "Diaclone". This is going back a while, obviously! Came with a little driver, FWIW.

I don't have that one anymore, last I saw it, an arm was off and the whole thing was pretty battered. I do still have my 2nd TF ever, tho: G1 Optimus Prime, missing only the smallest accessories (gas pump, hose, etc). Pretty playworn but decent. Just got thru gluing a smokestack and part of the bumper back on. Again. I'd love a re-issue or Encore to display alongside someday...

The first TF I got as a child was G1 Optimus. My parents wouldn't let me get Megatron because he looked to much like a gun.

The first TF I ever held was my cosigns Optimus Prime that I then took into my mouth (come one I was a baby), but the first one I had was G1 Sandstorm, I still have him but my brother broke off his right set of wheels a wile back.

My first Transformer was Trailbreaker. I found him at a Service Merchandise back in '84. I bought Bumblebee and Huffer the next day at a CVS.

I'll second that. I had him but he didn't make it through my childhood. He was a casualty of one of the many great Cybertronian Wars that occurred in my bedroom or basement.

Christmas 84 brought me G1 Prime and Bluestreak.

Bluestreak's roof was broken off by the end of the day. Cue much crying. I still have it but its in rough shape.

Prime lasted a while longer. Evenutally his legs broke off and he got tossed in one of the closet cleaning sessions.

Might be a little deja vu this year if I get encore Prime.

G2 Optimus Prime... Man, what a figure. I would never get any money from selling him. The play wear & tear on him is through the roof. I love that figure.
