What's the difference between MP-01, 20th Anniversary Prime & DVD Prime (aside from the price)?

sorry if this has already been discussed, i did a search for threads and it turned out nada.

i need some inputs as to what's the difference, aside from the price (LOL) between the different Prime releases? is there more or less die-cast between? i already know the smokestacks are shorter on the US/hasbro release, and the paint apps are different, but i would like to know if aside from these, are there any difference? some inputs on people who own one/all of these figs?

20th anni is essentially the same as MP-01, except is has painted battle damage, shorter smokestacks, and no die cast metal.DVD Prime is essentially 20th anni Prime with no battle damage, no chrome (but rather painted silver), lighter colors, and a silver and blue gun instead of black or gray.

Yes, they do. He's right about everything else except he left out that MP-01 was only available with the gray gun whereas 20th Op was available with either the gray or black guns.

you mean they the MP-01 and the hasbro releases have exactly the same amount of die-cast parts?

aside from the paint and shortened stacks, are they essentially the same figures?

sorry if i seem so inquisitive with regards to this, but seeing that MP-01 is my grail (see grail thread) for now, i'm considering getting either the 20th or DVD edition for now as this release is more within my salary range. 8)

Which one has the most show accurate paint? And what were the MSRP's on them anyway?
