Beast Wars.

BM is a really good series in a lot of ways, and I was very happy to see an in depth take on Transformers' spirituality. However, I just can't vote for any series that ends with the creation of a techno-organic Cybertron, especially one that, in doing so, sounds the final bell for the original G1 continuity.

Beast wars hands down for it's way of handing the characters and story telling.

While I like Beast Machines, there was so much that they could have done better. The spirtual aspect, while awesome, got tireing after a while. Great yes we can see you have magic monkey powers, now go out there and kick some tail pipe, and the way they screwed up a lot of the characters. (Rattrap no longer funny, BA worrying, Silverbolt all Emo, not to mention what they did to Rhinox.)

Personally I would have loved it if Megatron came in, blasted everything to bits, and taken over the planet and sent the maximals running, claiming it to be his planet. And besides, since when did Cybertron have any bats or organic cores, it's a huge hulking metal built planet. Period.

Beast Machines is my all time favourite!

Beast wars was badass though, the writing and the voice work was hands down perfect!

Beast Wars is superior. But Beast Machines is hardly inferior.

BM could have been better than Beast Wars, but I still feel that it was rushed too much to finish the (rather unpopular) series off.

In saying that though, Beast Wars could have gone for another 20 or more episodes (during Season 2) and been quite fine. (as Season 3 really built up towards the end of the series)

Then when RID came along I appreciated Beast Machines all that much more.

I guess I prefer Beast Wars,
although I do like that Cheetor pretty much became the Maximal Commander in Beast Machine.

Dude, Beast wars rocked! Beast machines was cool, and it had its share of shocks, suprises and a sad/happy ending. I couldnt think of a better way then to end g1.

QFT. i can't believe they ended season 2 at 13 episodes. wish it coulda been like season 1 with 20+ eps, BA & silverbolt's relationship could have been more expounded and developed, and they could have at least extended dinobot to a few more storylines.
