Personal taste should never be quantified, it leads to elitism. Which, in turn, cheezes me off.

I also don't like Soundwave. Why? I don't like how the particles are arranged in this particular composition. Why? **** if I know, Freud's theory of ego was never proven.

But you do agree that when someone doesn't like your work, you want to know why, right? Negative fan reaction without stated reasons only leads to guessing, which in turn leads to more mistakes.

I don't like the head mold at all, the face plate is way too long. I don't like the fact that you have to purchase the headband separately. I don't like the graphics on the side of the alt mode (yes, I do understand the reference) or the bumper sticker. Lastly, not a fan of the neon green.

Sometimes people just hate or dislike something, it's healthy and normal. Easy dismissal is only a problem if people are hurt by it, otherwise you just can dismiss all the crapola you want.

I see where you're coming from now. I agree on the head, but that may have been a necessity due to how the mold works. I really dislike the side graphics and bumper sticker, to me they makes it look cheap. I would have also preferred a molded on headband, but if it wouldn't work so be it. I take issue with them charging for it though, that seems ridiculous.

It's one thing to be distraught about the a mold of a toy, but to be think a toy's head is going to lead to the apocalypse.. it's not going to be that bad. Per every BotCon reveal it's a mockup at best, and I'm sure the head's elongation isn't as bad as depicted. Just relax, it's not ruined 4ever.

Of course regardless of the head I'm just not interested in the character..

No two ways about it, that thing is ugly.

The colours are fine, very Music Label, and in turn very SG Soundwave, the Cold Slither reference IS a nice touch, but that head... The head completely kills the rest of the figure.

I agree it should be shorter than it is, because right now it looks like Soundwave's practicing some patented Pat Lee "Dull Surprise"

What is it with the club and botching the head sculpts so damned often? Give me a block of plastic resin, and a few knives and I'll sculpt a better head than they seemingly ever can. (This is actually not a bad idea)

As for the "Headband sold separately" crap... that is just re-traxing-diculous! (Re-traxing-diculous: As ridiculous as, or more ridiculous than Retrax) how hard is it to include a small piece of fabric with a toy? Look at MP Grimlock, dude came with a bow-tie and apron for f**ks sake!

I don't typically get into ripping on a figure like this, especially when I'm probably not gonna get to go to BotCon anyway, so the likelihood of me getting any of this is slim at best, but this exclusive set better knock it outta the park with the next couple reveals, or I just don't see how it will be worth it to collectors to drop the several hundred dollars on a box full of ugly toys. I should mention that I say this as a FAN of Shattered Glass, as well...
