I had the day off so after the cat went to the vet, I did some looking around...
Erin Mills Town Centre Zellers had a ton of leader Brawl. They were save $10, $49.99. They had about five or six Ultimate Bumbleebee. I ended up getting one of each as I had neither (but actually didn't intend to get either). That was the majority of the stock plus some leader Megatrons. They had like 2 deluxes and that was it.
EDIT: Oh yeah, they had DarthVader/Deathstar there as well.
South Common Walmart had Dropkick, Recon Barricade, and Thundercraker. I ended up picking them up, though and they only had one of each. They have a lot of Towline if anyone still needs him... and even more of Wreckage the ultimate shelf warmer these days.

I figure I should type an introduction with my first post, so I don't seem to just appear out of nowhere
Well, after seeing the movie, I was reminded of how awesome the Transformers toys are, as I had a few small ones back in elementary school (I watched Beasties religiously), as well as some of the first toys released, which belonged to my brothers.
I went and bought the Voyager Blackout (my favourite TF in the movie) figure right away, and have been hooked on the toys once again since then
Anyway, I've been looking for Dropkick for about a week now (I learned that he was released in Canada on the 23rd just recently - lots of time and gas wasted -_-). So to the user who posted about the Dropkicks at South Common, how many were there? It's not exactly down the street from me and I don't want to get there and find an empty spot where he's supposed to be
I wish Zellers at Erin Mills TC was a little more on the ball, I was there today and saw the Megatron and Bumblebee figures as well, but still no Dropkick...
Also, I'm a big fan of Barricade, is there any stores in Mississauga still selling either the Legends or the Deluxe Barricade? If not, does anyone have an extra they could sell to me? I don't really know how these things work, will they restock the older figures, or is it scavenging time?
Anyway, sorry for extending the page a few miles, I'll end it...

Sorry there was only the one Drop kick that I had picked up. You should try other Walmarts as I think that's the only store that has had him so far. In time, though, probably Zellers and Toys R Us will have him as well.
It's hard to know how the distribution is going to work. There's been other series where I've never even seen toys at the store and they're already done (Energon Grimlock & Swoop). Other times you only see one or two and then a month later the shelves are full of that figure repeated and there was no real rush to get it.
I would say for now just keep looking for Barricade and whatever you're after. We know the movie toys are still going to be around for a while (until the animated toys come), so there's a chance. Also it looked like they were releasing Barricade in a set with some human figures so those should show up on the shelves eventually and give you another chance at the figure.

Welcome to the club!
I work at the Mazda Dealership around the corner (I'll be working at Toyota come monday) and I stop at the Erin Mills and Burnhamthorp Wallys most every day just to see what new goodies they may have. I also live in Port Perry, so on my two hour drive home I stop by the Uxbridge Wal-Mart because I know there are no collectors out there except for me. They still have many Dropkicks, Recon Barricades, all legends figures. If your trippin balls to find one just ask and I'll do my best to help you out.
But if you enjoy the hunt, then don't let me stop you!
Regardless, Welcome to Seibertron. I won't rock the cliche but everyone here knows it. Into the Ocean, best be daring...

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys
@ Foallen - Ah, if I had read your post properly, I would have known there was only one left before you arrived! Well, I'm in no rush to get him, so I'll keep checking around. Thanks for the heads up on Barricade, too
@ Down_Shift - I actually work at Erin Mills TC, I think that's a coincidence or ironic in some way! I am actually having some trouble finding Legends of any sort, other than Blackout and Megatron (I'm pretty sure I saw a Legends Megatron and didn't just dream it or something). You have no idea how much faster time passes at work when you have some little Transformers to screw around with - Bumblebee and Blackout have had quite the ongoing feud, let me tell you...
Anyway, maybe I'll consider troubling you sometime for that Barricade... I'd hate to, but he's definitely among my most wanted... I'll search around some more and give it a bit of time though, maybe I'll hit up the stores in my girlfriend's small town
Oh, and I'm not sure if it's been posted already, but The Source in Erin Mills TC has a Deluxe Scorponok, Blackout, and Bonecrusher if I'm not mistaken

So I went to a Real Canadian Superstore the other day with my mom and no shitting you, I found Target Exclusive Scouts.
I was just about to newsify this as hilarious, but it seems Cyberton.ca and TWF already have it up (most likely because they have the same staff

Sorry I couldn't reply to your IM, DS, I left my computer on overnight and forgot to log out.
I read that that "Target exclusive" Scouts can be found in Quebec at Maxi & Cie. I haven't checked it out for myself yet, but I might just do that on Monday.

Thank you for that.

Welcome Lowezt!
TRU Metrotown has a whole bunch of Leader Megatrons, and several of the blue armored car deluxe guys (I forget his name, since I'm not interested). Other than that, nothin much happening. Although I should mention that AgesThreeAndUp still has a large stack of Leader Primes (Costco Exclusive w/Legends BB), if someone around here still hasn't picked any up. They also had a couple of the Target Exclusive Scouts which have recently been showing up elsewhere.

No Target Scouts at the Maxi et Cie on Taschereau, South Shore of Montreal. Bummer. And the Winners near to the Maxi has no TFs. BS!

Zellers: from November 3 to November 9:
- 3" Titaniums, $5.99 instead of $7.99.
Toys R Us: from November 3 to November 16:

Wahoo! TRU LaSalle finally got in a new shipment yesterday, and I snagged one out of the ONLY TWO 08 Camaros - finally, one to fool around with. Seriously, what is up with his distribution? Better news is that there were plenty of Recon Barricades and Dropkicks to go around!
One Recon Barricade at the Alexis Nihon Zellers, and that was about a week back, consisting of pretty much all their stock...

Does seem that TRU caught up and caught up quick with the Deluxes. Can't wait for all the others due out in the Allspark Power line. Mostly repaints but some really nice ones to look forward to.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

Picked up Dropkick at the TRU sale. They've got pretty much every other deluxe there too (Recon Barricade included).

I just wanted to share some special Christmas memories for the Canucks on this board given that it is fast approaching. I took these cuttings as a kid back in 1985 from the Consumer's Distributing Xmas catalogue and came by them recently. I especially like the mistransformed Grimlock
and TYCO Electric Train Set!
ENJOY!

ENJOY!

I remember Consumers! I used to longingly go through those catalogues as well... and not get anything I wanted. Good times.
I particularly like Soundwave using Laserbeak as a weapon, 'Boom, Headshot' Grimlock, and Phallic Cannon Megatron.
But those prices are effing amazing, Soundwave for $15? You can't even get a Deluxe for that price in some stores... Hell, I would buy all of those figures for the prices listed!

Try $95 at the Montreal ToyCon since he can't be found in Quebec, like every other exclusive, due to our assraping language laws.

Anyway, Brossard TRU now has the MP Prime Xmas ornament (for a hefty $19) as well as Deluxe Dropkick and Recon Barricade. 2 Dropkicks, 1 Barricade. Check the wall of Deluxes in the TF aisle, on the left side at the top of the wall there are 2 pegs with Protoform Starscream. Behind him you'll find the Dropkicks and Recon Barricades. Happy hunting, mates.

Wow, I forgot all about those. I still have the RC race car set and the TYCO Train. I loved that the train turned into a Spaceship. It was my Autobot Astrotrain. I had most everythign else on that page as well. The shield, blaster, chest plate. I still have that boxed puzzle in the bottom left corner sealed and sitting in my room on top of my mirror!
Thanks for that flashback Zed, I needed it.
Oh and no worth while sightings in my neck of the woods.

The picture I remembered most was the deluxe insecticons there... I thought for the longest time that Ransack had a bug head due to the angle he's taken at. When I got him I found out he actually has a robot head.
Back to sightings, I was at Sheridan Place Zellers. They have all the later deluxes (Dropkick, Towline, Payload and Dreadwing - one of each). As with most of their stuff it probably won't move any time soon.
I also saw the Decepticon cell phone guy. I think it's the first time I had seen him. It was mixed in with older real gear toys. I didn't bother getting it as I already have the Autobot cell phone and I'm not a big fan of real gear. I only got the last 8 because they were half price.
