CYBERVERSE TF PRIME
I was sort of interested in the cyberverse line for DOTM (especially the Op and Megs that came with trailers and of course Shockwave) but I never bought any. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I am now in a situation though where I am really liking these Commander class figs but I have yet to purchase one because I had already started buying the deluxe and voyagers before I saw any commanders. But Megs, Bulkhead, Ironhide, Dreadwing, even Starscream and Optimus to a lesser degree look fantastic! I'm just conflicted on the whole "GI JOE" size transformers. I always feel I'm not getting my moneys worth when I buy something that small at such inflated prices. And part of me feels if I were to buy any Commanders then I would either A) shouldn't buy any other version (Voyagers mainly) or B) have to switch completely over to cyberverse and forget the other versions though the Legions class stinks. I have tried to like them but it doesn't work. What do all think?

If you really like a figure don't let the size deter you. Buy the Commander figure you like. You don't have to buy them all(though they do become addictive).
I prefer the smaller Tf. I can collect an entire line and don't have to dedicate massive space for it. Larger figs have their bonuses too though with articulation. The DOTM Commanders are also longer in alt mode than say Deluxe Optimus.
DOTM Prime is good, Prime:RID Optimus looks great.
Point is, $10 for a Commander is a little high it seems, but like you said, they are G.I. Joe size and those cost $7-$8.00 anyway. You pay an extra 2 dollars and it's like you get 2 toys.

Re: CYBERVERSE TF PRIME
You don't need to force yourself to like a class if you don't really like it. But on the other hand, if you want a cheaper way to get all the cast, this is a good class to go. I personally don't like Cyberverse line but I bought them for my son. He loves them. They are at the right size for him and he has no trouble transforming them by himself.
We have DOTM Cyberverse commander Prime and Megatron both with trailers. To be honest, I really don't like them both. Megatron is better designed but that fly pack trailer is strange. I don't really like Optimus, especially his legs. The battle suite are not easy to apply on and the weapon arms are wiggling.
Now to Prime line, we have all. The commander class are all well detailed and painted. Optimus could be the weakest due to his legs, shoulders, and waist design. Megatron is almost perfect in robot mode (forget about the alt mode, really). Starscream is also nicely designed but has some balance issue. Bulkhead is also well done for this size. Besides Prime, none of them have head articulation which I really hope they have. The legion/legend class are what they are. So far to me Ratchet is probably the weakest but they are all okay.

The DOTM Cyberverse line (where previous legends were not used and repainted) was superior to anthing previously offered in legends class in terms of articulation and detail IMO. The Prime exosuit set is a nice way to get him with a trailer without paying 30 bucks, but the suit mode is kind of meh, tho better than Megatron's flight pack thingee. It's just a shame that there is a disproportionately small amount of Decepticons to Autobots; leaves things feeling a bit unbalanced.
The TF Prime Cyberverse stuff is amazing, especially when it comes to the Commander class.
