Good Source for Low-Priced Figures?
Can anyone suggest a good source for low-priced Transformers (mainly generations, classics, universe, henkei, united)? Trying to get my collection started but not wanting to spend a fortune. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Ebay if you're patient! Especially if you don't mind unboxed figures.

Do you intentionally try to piss people off??
general-rules-for-seibertron-com-s-forums-t14626.php
1. No flaming, trolling, harassing, or baiting other guests.
Flaming should be self evident, trolling means to make posts or threads for the intended purpose of starting an argument, while baiting is any post intended to make another user resort to flaming. Harassment means following a user or group of users around through multiple threads to flame them, bait them, or otherwise cause them to want to avoid the boards because of a user's actions towards them. If there is a discussion and there ends up some sort of disagreement on someones personal opinion, simply try and respect each others opinions without forcing them on others.
Check out the bolded parts.. Your post could be labeled as "baiting", also your lack of respect is also evident by your comment

This has been reported to me as forcing your opinion and not respecting others..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

You might try some of the discount chains like TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, and even Burlington Coat Factory. I still find quite a few Reveal the Shield and various other Deluxes and Voyagers there for $7 and $10 respectively.

eBay tip: Avoid the "Buy It Now" option. Sellers often set the BIN price higher than what an auction would bring, and sometimes the BIN prices are outright rip-offs.

You can also go and search for coupon codes for online stores that should help.
Or these guys for pre-orders

I wasn't aware that "Burlington coat factory" was part of the discount stores selling transformers toys for cheap.
I'm aware of the following discount stores in america: Tjmaxx & marshalls which are owned by the same company. Ross & Five below.

If you are looking at G1 and dont mind incomplete figs, try searching the kost generic way you could describe a toy on ebay.
Search "toy robot" or "transforming toy plane".
You'll be amazed at the number of people who have no idea what they dug out around their house. Using those search terms, i once found a complete G1 thrust under $6
Well I din't buy it, cos im not much of a G1 collector.

Nor was I, not that it matters on my end. It's far enough away that going there isn't really warranted unless I'm in the area... that and the Blue Laws have it closed on my day off xP
But check Craigslist too. I actually found a ROTF Leader Optimus on there (MISB) for $40 earlier this month. Passed over it because I'd have had to of driven an hour and a half to get it.

Re: Good Source for Low-Priced Figures?
A special thanks to El Duque, because I went to Burlington Coat Factory the other day, and even though I only picked up a RTS Bumblebee in terms of Transformers, I also found two other Iron Man figures that are extremely rare and was as giddy as a school girl when I found them
Thanks again,
SamDrew

As others have said, being patient on eBay can really pay off. Back when I was building up my collection, I'd get tons of great deals on eBay just by waiting until the last 20 seconds and sniping. I know it pissed people off, but that's pretty much how eBay works.
I've also gotten some really cool deals on Crave. I'd say Crave has some of the fairest prices for Transformers I've ever seen the majority of the time. They're not always low, but I've never seen some of the price gauging that goes on at eBay.

If what you're looking for are mainly classicsverse type figs, Crave is easily the best place to go, especially in terms of selection and the prices tend to be very good. Those discount stores are cheaper price-wise, but it can be like going to a yard sale...you just never know what's gonna be there.
I don't think Ollie's was mentioned in terms of discount stores, we have some of them in PA and they often even have some of the other stores exclusives.
