Got my 'Asian Exclusive' deluxes yesterday, and have been playing around with Wheelie and came up with this:
Unfortunately, not many parts can be simply unscrewed and reversed without effecting transformation though. Hips seem ok, but that's it:
What d'ya all think? Worth doing, or does it just make him look too ape-like?
Making Generations Wheelie a little shorter

I think it looks pretty good. The knees leave a little something to be desired, but otherwise it looks pretty natural. But considering the official transformation leaves you with rather unsightly shins, it's not really much of a trade off...kind of a pick your poison scenario. If I get this guy, I will likely use your mode. Question is will I get this guy? Between legends Wheelie and the inevitable 3rd party release, I'm not sure if I need more Wheelie in my collection.

Cheers. The knees are the same with the official transformation, assuming you mean the lighter grey joint.

It looked like the legs were spun around to achieve this leaving the knees backwards, but if I'm mistaken, then definitely, this is the way to go for this guy.

Basically, you're right, but the Jazz mold has knees that kinda work either way. And once you shorten the lower legs like I have, the knees work perfectly this way round

I don't know why you'd WANT to make him shorter. I think he resembles his G1 incarnation better with longer legs.
I'm curious though: where did you order from and where do you live?

I meant the dark orange part of the 'knees', or just above them, look hollow. I don't have the mold in front of me, though, so maybe both sides are like that.

A lot have people have objected to the idea of such a tall deluxe being used for him. Plus, I think the giant 'sneakers' type feet rather suit his character.
I'm in the UK. Got them from an ebay seller in Hong Kong (I think). A friend of mine got them on the same day from Kapow though

Ah, yeah, unfortunately you're right about that Kibble. It might be possible to swap them over, but you'd have to cut off the clear plastic parts on the windows that the speakers attach to for it to not effect transformation though
