MOTU

Kind of expected/expecting some motu new adventures nods in four horsemens cosmic legions or some of the more tech heavy motu characters but nothing as yet, still some cool figures tho

Not so sure on the sorceress (looks better with helmet on) but the Zoids looking Battlecat toy looks great for the series
https://toynewsi.com/241-40605
also the WWE superstars line sadly replacing motu WWE has a Scott Hall so I can ditch Tripple HHH that came with the ring and have Razor Ramone with the terror claws (makes soooo much more sense chico)

Awesome. Too bad it seems Battlecat cant remove his helmet/armour. But they both look good

Guards! Guards!
They should so do Discworld figures in motu style...
Until then, I have my guards and no imminent need to buy multiples of figures (until horde troopers and two bad anyways).
Packaging teases
King and Queen (both with white hair, don't really get that but hey), unknown character to me that looks like a gaurd with a Persian kinda helmet, mossman, robed keldor (hopefully it happens for those that can't get the exclusive), Skelton minions (likely glow in the dark), frozen man at arms (like the super7 tv figure variant).
Nice figure, would have been good to have a few more heads with it or an empty helmet for the figure to hold when headswapping it with other heads.
Weird how the pretools can sometimes differ and end up not being used, with the breast plates not being switchable on the guards unlike the wwe motu (still glad they gave the battle damage he/skel the rotating damage even if the visible area was a bit too small).
I've been avoiding vehicles to save space like I did with 200x but I'm going to have to pick up a windraider (or two!) as it will go really well with them.

Another site for Revelations releases
I didn't get around to seeing it, but some of the upcoming wave designs, such as Claw Jaw, look very lowkey.

Picked up megabloks point dread for £15 at Smyths. Really wanting the advent calender if it ever shows up here and isnt ridiculous price.
https://all-advent-calendars.com/calend ... -calendar/
I'll either use the set with my origins greyskull (it probably wont look as weird as having an eventual point dread attached to it and might look ok for a perspective view with or with out the keshis on the castle.
Megabloks Grayskulls on offer this week at £114 on amazon as deal of the day but I dont really want it.

The Revelations cartoon and the toy design (which I assume is the show design) for Claw Jaw.

That would be when you’re looking at Beast Wars bios, while sourcing MOTU. Trap Jaw was what I meant to say

When you talk MOTU on a TF site you call Clawful "Claw Jaw", but I don't see any sign of him at the link posted.
Man, there's all sorts of things wrong with the MOTU shelves at one of my local Walmarts.
The large animated figures are hanging instead of on the shelves, the pegs are crowded too close to put figures on, and I have no idea what those $12.97 pegs are for.

Revelations reduced to £15 at smyths. I really should have waited, sad thing is I don't want any of the figures I passed on, even on sale.
Hemans/skeletor origins reduced to £12 and origins listings up for the sorceress/jitsu 2021 wave on their site.

Just a quick ammendment, smyths doesn't have the origins LOP mini comic Stratos listed with his wave mates but I'm guessing they will get it in with the others. Unless they think it looks like a bad KO too.
Speaking of bad Kos, since there is such a shortage of them for modern motu that even Mattel is releasing sun man and I can't find any of the motu series figures yet, I picked this up. For four eternian beans at home bargains, lightseekers by Tomy. I figure it will make for a good skeletor custom or one of his minions or just anything. They are sold with out weapons or accessories (gotta buy them seoerately which kinda sucks) or a power core thing to make them light up.
No waist articulation, the head only slightly moves. Hip ball joints ratcheted as with the shoulders. Kinda weird bicep twists that look a bit off due to the gap. Some kinda USB like ports in both hands for the weapons. Sadly I don't think it will fit normal usbs as he would have been able to have USB ravages painted as panthor sticking out of them :p. Back part is removable for jet packs etc/the light up fusion thing. The amount of skulls and style of this guy should fit pretty well with the series stuff.

Picked up jitsu, sorceress and mini comics Stratos today. No buzz off on the shelves (I'd consider one for the better arm articulation but when 3 figures is now the same as picking up 4 I'm undecided).
Smyths also has listings up for steidor, anti eternia heman and horde trooper.
They have the first series figures listed, Orco, sorceress, yellow cthru heman but they are at £15 each
kinda going against the whole point of the lower price point/toys for kids.
Saw an origins green goddess but paint had rubbed off her nose which was comical to me.
Packaging teasers on jitsu is cyclonus. CMON board game backers gonna be annoyed haha as jitsu and cyclonus didn't make an appearance in it. *comic tease point dread (would be after I bought the megablox, but no regrets!!)

series beastman and royal armor he-man??
https://toynewsi.com/241-40758
either way beastman is a thousand times better than revelations version even if he looks like a battle beast.

The jeweled eyed skeletor head that comes with Keldor is really nice and despite me being happy with s7tv skeletor I'm going have to pick up an origins figure for it.
Got some more masters of wwe arriving soon, I'm dreading how hard it will be to get sgt slaughter/andre/chyna though, as it appears wave 8 is out with no sign of wave 7.

Not sure how long this has been going on or how much longer it will last, but Target is having a big online only sale on select MOTU figures.
Revelations Skelegod $18.89
Revelations Faker $21.69
Revelations Battlecat $27.99
Revelations Skeletor $15.39
Revelatoins He-Man $15.39
MotUO Rise of Evil $23.09
MotUO Panthor $13.99
MotUO Battlecat $13.99
Picked up Faker, he's the only thing on the list I don't have.

Ended up ordering a MOTUO Panthor from that Target sale as well since the one I currently have is the flocked version.
Found most of MOTUO wave 7 at Target this morning, that was a surprise! Only figure they didn't have was Jitsu and I didn't want the comic Stratos figure so I quickly canceled my pre-order from BBTS and grabbed Sorceress and Buzz-off and ordered Jitsu again on BBTS. Saving a lot of money this way even with the BBTS markup. Even better I was able to use my 25% off one toy Target Circle coupon on one of the figures, and I had also found a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase coupon in there plus the 5% off Red Card discount so I ended up paying only $25 for the pair.

I did notice a lot of Revelations figures popping up in sales at the moment. I assume reception didn't improve with the second half of the season?

Still will not be watching it as with the first half but it seems like it has gone down okay with people that arent fans of the originals. I picked up a few more figures at £12 mainly because wave 3 looks good (apart from Andra looking like T'challa as Starlord or something) and I would like the non Revelations Masterverse stuff to come out.
Revelations Teila and Evil lynn (incredibly hard to remove the head on mine) are fine for generic female figures that dont visually represent the characters. The awful beastman should look a lot better with some customisation/fur added to him.
MOtU Beastman is less apeish but hey at least it looks good to me anyways,

Oh I like him! As aesthetics go, I think he is my second favourite for Beastman. First being 200X.
