So back to the Mega Bloks Blind Bags that Stuartmaximus and Glarry G were mentioning above..

Just picked some up at Dollar General:
A14125MM - Donnie
A16125MM - Raph
A17125MM - Mikey
A18125MM - Shredder
A19125MM - Kraang
A21125MM - Foot Soldier

So I'm guessing A15 is Leo and A20 is the Foot Bot. Heading back in a few as I bought multiple A16 thinking THEY were the Foot Bot (from one of the YouTube videos)!!

They didn't have any other numbers other than what I have listed, and they didn't have any other Kraang/Foot Soldiers either! I was going to pick up one more of each Kraang and Foot Soldier, and then a Foot Bot if they had it. Luckily I was able to exchange my unopened A16 Raph for A15 Leo ;)^

Looks great, hopefully they do the panda guy too. S7 surprised me with scratch and slash being musts for me (was never a fan of cartoon slash, his original toy was great) just like with mutagen man. S7 ace duck looks better too but I never had him back in the day.
Waiting for a mirage Casey but weirdly I think the nickelodeon tmnt usagi fits really well with the mirage turtles. I'll try and pick up necas toon version but if they do a toy line for the upcoming usagi tv series I may be all bunnied out by then.

I'm not surprised, these arent aimed at kids and thus you get a higher cost (for all that added detail) and you have less units to split that cost since you aren't selling this in Walmarts. So a nice recipe for high crazy prices. That's why aside form BW MPs, I just stick to retail figures. I'm more impressed at what a company can do with limitations in budget than without.

$500 on BBTS. But I agree with Will, plus it's going to be huge. As far as the US prices go it's about the same as 8 or 9 figures which sounds like the right ratio. Back in the 80s you could get 5 or 6, maybe 7 figures for the cost of a Party Wagon.

It's kind of irrelevant to even compare this to a retail line. Personally, I compare it to other collector lines. For a direct comparison in this case, I look to NECA. Wherein Super7 TMNT figures tend to be double the price of NECA's. Yet don't actually look as good and there isn't really enough to justify their figures being double the price of their competition.

Let alone the vehicles. Which for arbitrary reasons (Read: Greed and avarice), The Thundertank and Party Wagon are ten times the price of an individual figure (RRP). These aren't even the biggest vehicles/playsets of these lines. Cat's Lair and the Technodrome, by this price scaling, would be veering towards 1K... Which is insane.

NECA is strange, as it seems to straddle the line of collector and retail. While not upto the level of Hot Toys, their general output is of far higher quality than Hasbro. As I mentioned with the Defenders of the Earth line, Ming The Merciless has more detail and paint apps on him than any other figure at the same price point.

Another example I can give for a collector line is Storm Collectibles. While their figures can be more pricey than Super7, you get a lot of figure for your money. Mortal Kombat's Motaro for example, is a nearly 10" tall centaur. Very poseable and heavy. I got him for under £100. Meanwhile, I'm seeing Super7's TMNT line receiving half price reductions in various sales now. That level of discount you don't normally see from other collector lines. As back stock isn't typically an issue. SC figures for example, have a limited release and the secondary market prices are ...steep.

I read that this is the Super7 line. Which specialises in updating the toy designs. Now I had no idea who this guy was. Except the release of this figure is a big deal apparently. Since the original was one of the most rare figures of the classic line?

New slash is nice, never liked the toon version so necas will save a bit of money over getting super 7s.the nezco 1/12 tmnt seems pretty pointless to me though. Finally a mirage Casey to go with the years old neca stuff yay. Going to be an expensive year.

I haven't been buying any of these aside from Neca Chrome Dome since there's just so much happening all at once from every incarnation. However, I'm totally down for some Mighty Mutanimals and that specific Slash! I doubt they'll do Archie style Leatherhead, Wingnut and Mondo so maybe I should get the cartoon versions of them? There's so many Archie versions of the characters that I would love to get as well as a bunch of original characters, not to mention black costume Raph. Let's see how far this rabbit hole goes.

Since I have '87 Android Body Krang, the Mirage one caught my eye. I've heard of the Archie TMNT run, by reputation. But never read any of it personally.

I was surprised by The Last Ronin figure. You don't get much more current TMNT than that.

I think I'm going to pay £50 for S7 muckman over a £24 neca muckman o. O

Mirage Casey and utrom are musts for me as I already have the turtles and April (no shredder, stupid loot rate prices) and I prefer the toon rock soldier over toon General Kraag. I've not really dipped into movie tmnt stuff yet but probably will have by the time hamato/oroku set is released. A black costume Raph would be very tempting too even its one of the easiest repaints to do :p

I'm really wanting next mutations turtles to go with in space power rangers but maybe hasbro can pull that off. I'll take venus de milo over any recent eastman crap, plus any mutations bad guys will fit right in with saban/sentai stuff.

Not surprising when mutant shredders have almost as much page time as the real shredder in mirage comics hahahah

I figured I'd go for the four pack with the foot soldiers NYCC16 but...prices

I guess the Ras al Ghul/Shredder combo pack is another option for a mirage shredder 9all be it on steroids but not quite super steroids).

Indeed

The original 'one & done' nature of Shredder, even I am aware of. Even the completely inept '87 Shredder actually outlived him. Technically he survived Movie Shredder too, for that matter.

I have one more Super Shredder redeco in the pipeline. Now, with this Mirage Krang, I might look into when Super7 does the Toy Krang update. Which should complete the Android Krang variants.

If you like the more lighthearted cartoon over the darker stuff then you really should. It gets very crazy and introduces tons of characters that have never or rarely been used in other media or as figures.
