Zeta's full name is Sentinel Zeta Prime apparently. So yes, he is the same guy. WFC and Prime are in the Prime continuity family! look it up on Twiki.net!

That is totally Hasbro trying to cover up their goof between the WFC game and book.

Anyone else excited about the possible figures from that poster. Maybe Skyfire(Jetfire), Arcee, Ratchet, and the red ones either Swerve or Cliffjumper. I know this aint the figure thread, but wow.

We're getting Cliffjumper for sure, the others are still uncertainties.

I've played thoough the game(both campaigns) 3-4 times now. I don't know about you guys but with a little speculation and finagleing I find the WFC story fits quite well with G1...
A couple of examples-
For Silverbolt and Airraid: In WFC their there yes... but their also killed/taken offline by Trypticon in one of the ending cutscenes.
In G1 the Aerialbots are made, on earth, to increace the Autobots air power...
but you can fit them together by saying that their sparks were stored within the Core/Vector Sigma and simply transplanted into new bodys in a similar fasion to the Combaticons in "Starscreams Brigade".
As for the line of Primes... In WFC the Matrix is essentually a mobile vessal for the spark of cybertron. It will most likly be treated the way the G1 Matrix is... But before the matrix existed the core/Vector Sigma would have probably imbued the Primes with power directly... it could have been that finding the route to the core itself, was/could have been used as a "right of passage" for previous Primes like Zeta and Sentinal... also WFC states that it's a council of elders that chooses the Primes.
So, in theory, anybot could become a Prime. WFC also hints at/states that the Primes had succumbed to arrogance and corruption... So whos to say that their may have been a few Primes who were simply elected to the position but were ultimatly unworthy?

The whole "G1 Cartoon canon" thing had me pissed off before the game even came out. First of all, Stunticons & Aerialbots are in it. Automatic continuity error right there. And then there's Trypticon, who wasn't built 'til Season 3, on Earth. Another continuity clash. And I remember them touting it as having explained certain character motivations from the G1 cartoon (Starscream's, in particular), further implying that this ties in with that particular continuity. I just don't understand what universe this is supposed to be set in. If it's canon, it must belong to something, it has to fit in somewhere. Otherwise it's just an official stand-alone product, and there's no need to call it canon or official or anything - it just exists as itself, by itself. Which is basically the way I view the game, in its own separate continuity, a unique, one-shot vision of the war on Cybertron.

Agreed, though in fairness I think Hasbro meant that it is canon going forward.
I.E. most Transformers media over the next wee while will be incontinuity with this. (E.g. Prime)
When it comes to Transformers and "official" canon I think it's best to take everything with a rather big grain of salt.
It's not like it matters anyway

good advice.
But if this is the Official Canon, does that mean that all those cartoons I've got on DVD, and those films that people went to see Megan Fox in, are all unofficial? Hasbro better start suing themselves for infringing on their copyright then. Those sneaky sons of bots!
my favourite TF cannon is Galvatron.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Hahaha, seriously made me laugh.
Reminds me of this quote from the TFwiki:
"CANON AND CANNON ARE DIFFERENT FREAKING WORDS, AND IF YOU TELL US ABOUT HOW SOME STORY IS "NOT CANNON" ONE MORE TIME, WE WILL MURDER YOU. With a CANNON."
