We broke news in a report in January that there would be Plush Transformers released. We also had the first image of plush Optimus Prime. Now both Sledgehama of Transformersnewzealand.com and Starscream NZ of TFW2005 have confirmed the release of the Optimus Prime plush figure as well as a G1 Bumblebee plush figure. They were found at a Farmers store for $19.95. To see images of both plushies click here.

$20 NZ is generally about 10-12 US although the NZ dollar is unusally strong at the moment making it closer to $14US.

Any shots of them in altmode? I'd like to see what they look like.

If I were trying to pick up a female transfan, I'd definitely buy her one of these. I hope they make a Grimlock too. Heh heh, I'd love a cuddly Grimlock. Ah, irony!
