Shaki Jaki's Toy Shack

The figures themselves!
Falconformer is SO MUCH FUN. The Falcon is solid and accurate. And the bots are deliciously camp. Wonky proportions and kibble for sure, but way more posable than you'd think. They are simply a joy.
The Figuarts. They look phenomenal. Luke's face sculpts are flat out, art. However they aren't QUITE as posable as I'd like. But hey, I doubt there's any other figures out there of this caliber that look THIS good.

That's right, they made a new one. I have 2 copies of the old version, one still MISB. I'm afraid to touch the one I have out of box...

Re: Shaki Jaki's Toy Shack

Couple things to note lately....
I was using a Facebook page to host pics on, but I'm gonna stop using them. I'm pretty sure that they're dropped off into nothingness after a couple months. There's evidence of that in the backpage's of the Shack, and a lot of 3P threads (as most of them are linked to Daimchoc). It sucks because FB was pretty user friendly.
On another front, Reprolabels/Toyhax sent the replacement spoiler piece for the Carry set I ordered. It was actually quite the ordeal (one of many these days it seems..). I got the first one which was bunk and took over a month to arrive, said I'd place a new order and asked to have the replacement shipped with it. They said yes, placed my new order, and it arrived without the replacement spoiler. Some more back and forth, and they sent the replacement on it's own. It arrived a couple days ago and it seriously looks shittier than the first one. I sent them an email with a pic requesting a refund for the set and they gave me a 20 credit code for my next order. I'm mad enough with the whole thing to blacklist them, but there's no point in posturing if you won't back it up. They're the only game in town, so I'll be buying again. Just not their plastic pieces.
My less than satisfying 3P Sideswipe and Red Alert from A3U, which Alert was missing pieces, I was told had to be reviewed by their "warranty department" and might take a few days. Which annoyed me because it seemed pretty cut and dry to me as he was still in stock, so just purge the pieces from one at the shop and send them to me. But ok, I wait. Over a week later, still have no reply so I inquire. They say they filed the inquiry somewhere and lost/forgot or something. They agreed to send me the pieces, or refund entirely, to which I decided to keep the figs and get the replacements. Since I decided that (a few days ago), I got no response that they've actually sent me anything yet....
Then there's Renderform.... the ordeal is 100% over. If you want to know about it, head to the his thread in the 3P forum.
TLDR, it seems communication is a lost art and don't use FB to host images

Fudge me with chocolate and caramel syrup, yet another Falcon... ME WANTS!!!
I'm glad you both are finding it great, gives me hope!
And my original Falcon will pretty much permanently go into Falcon mode once he arrives. I'll have 3 Falcon's and a robot Falcon!
Nice figurines. I never got into figurines myself, only having a few, but that Vader is killer!

And here I was doing so good...
I have been spending. A lot. And I am now essentially back in the same spot I was in a year ago. I don't really know how it happened or what possessed me to do it. Things we popping up all over the place, and since I had that nice little nest egg built up maybe I felt invincible? At the moment, I have a huge toy bill due at the end of the month with nothing saved at all. I will be alright though, because I have two good paychecks in a row coming, but still. If it weren't for them though I'd be screwed.
After those two cheques I should be able to pay for things and put up a new nest egg. But I am really quite mad at myself. The struggle is real folks

I hear you Jak. Like I said in the Diaclone thread, everything is just happening so fast. So many big ticket items rolling out at the same time.

I think I just have the wrong mindset. My paychecks can be quite polarizing. It's usually either bare bones, or padded with lots of OT. Sometimes there is a little extra here and there, but I usually just spend it because... I dunno, if its not a large lump sum then it's not worth saving? Essentially it boils down to I just need to pull my head out of my ass

Here's a couple of the things I bought but shouldn't have

So. From the first pressing, the only one I was able to obtain was the Bumblebee variant. But I was able to obtain (not yet in hand) every variant of the second pressing, so it spurred me into action to complete the first pressing run. Which was these two: Optimus Prime and Megatron.
And y'know, I really kind of hate it. Unless you open them up, you can't tell them apart. I don't know what they're doing to distinguish the difference between the variants in pressing #2, but there is virtually no distinguishable difference in the 1st run besides the Op variant has a tiny red dot sticker on the front cover in the top left. Megatron has nothing, and Bumblebee has nothing. It is going to be really tough to keep track of what's what.

New stuff! UW Lynx, Predaking, Inferno, Outty, and Purpleslash!

Well. The new Pradaking.
Honestly, I like him quite a bit. But he needs upgrades. He is exactly what I expected, simple but fun. The animal modes are tragic, but the bot modes (spare the combining kibble) are surprisingly good. And King mode, might be the most solid, official or 3P, that I've handled.
I had low expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised.

And now, Bucky
