Target Exclusive Hardtop Review.

Postby Sportimus Prime » Sat Jun 30, 2007 11:29 pm

Went to Target, found a couple of the new exclusives. I was looking for the black Armorhide, and Arcee, but they were not in stock. There was only Signal Flare, and Hardtop. So, I picked Hardtop since Signal Flare really didn't appeal to me all that much.

I have to say, though he is tiny, he's pretty neat. He has a different, darker color scheme. More military colors than purple and aqua-blue-ish. Makes him more convincing as a "real" military buggy. Well, to me it does. He comes with a Sector 7 Cybertron Key which flips open his longer gun. Nothing special, but it's the first Cybertron fig I have in my posession. He stands up very well, really stable. The silver and yellow accents really stand out on him since he has pea-green and dark gray on most of him. Yellow eyes really stand out. Rather nice.

It's a simply little guy, but sometimes a non-complicated transformation can still be fun. He's definitely a good example of one. If you have an original Hardtop, or not, pick this one up. He goes well with Brawl and Bronecrusher.

I bought it as a b'day present for my friend.

I was impressed with Skyblast and Arcee. I'm considering getting Elita One, what a pity she is just a repaint of Arcee!

I want Armourhide though. He looks like tons of fun and real value for money for a Scout class.
