the GLORY of OMEGA PRIME!
Hey Guys, I know I'm like THE LAST one to get on the Omega Prime bandwagon, but...
I just completed him and wanted to share my joy with everybody. Basically because anybody that's NOT on a TF forum wouldn't give a crap.
Doesn't he make you happy just to look at him? LC

I never liked the idea of Omega Prime. Once again Ultra Magnus turns out to be a power armor for Optimus. And on top of that, I thought it was redundent since Prime is already wearing his Power Armor!

I do love my Omega Prime. Sadly, Op and Magnus are seperated: Prime on the top shelf with my other Primes, Magnus on the bottom with modern transformers I love the most.
TOP-- Primes collection, and generation reissues
SECOND DOWN-- Alternators, current tf line, scouts(cos I love em)
THIRD DOWN-- School books, text books, sheet music, certificates
BOTTOM-- My favourite transformer toys of the past few lines
TOY BOX TOP-- Nintendo stuff, going out stuff, cards etc
MIDDLE BOX-- Transformers that didn't fit on the shelf- most BW, RiD, Armada
BOTTOM BOX-- Art materials, stationary, Folders
My room is very well organised. It has to be; before it was my room, it was a small office! Seriously, the bathroom is bigger than my room! :'(

Once Again??? When was he ever a powerarmor before??? Or are you referring to Ultramagnus Armor from G1. that wrapped around the White prime cab??
Anyway, he really is a great figure, except for his ballerina waist that just bends over at the slightest touch.
Lights and Sounds are pretty good. Rubber Tires are a nifty feature. And prime in and outr of Armor is just a great figure by himself.

lol
What you got to remember is this is Japanese stuff. Our dear friends from across the seas love super modes. The more super modes a figure has, the better for all!
I have to agree with them. It's cool that so much can be put into a figure without compromising the look or the mechanics of the figure.

Well, if it's vicsious slander you want, I don't like Omega Prime either. Only becuase I never seem to be able to combine him the right way. Omega Prime looks awesome, I'm just bitter becuase I can't do it right.

Don't have instructions or what? Japanese versions maybe?
I know it would be a LOT harder going from the jap. instructions with no written out explanations.

I have the instructions, one in english and one in Japanese. They don't help me. I guess I'm just stupid.

I transform tfs without instructions.
You need to invert UM legs and hands, so that the red hands show, fold the legs so the big black feet are out front.
The main part's a bit more complicated.
You need to sort of fold the upper legs back in, spin the blue gun connectors round and pull the red wings out, and invert the booster pack. I can't explain that thought, cos I'm not quite sure how I would.
Then just mess with Prime as if to go to his standard super mode. Then just put the two together.
That probably doesn't help though, does it

I remember once I said 'Jap' something or other and some white-kid douche-bag yelled at me for slandering a whole people (his girlfriend was Japanese).
It led to my very first internet rant.

You know, I've always wondered about that on this site, how Japanese gets abreviated and no one really seems to mind. I for one am glad, but hell, some people are just douche bags to begin with.

The combination is a little complex, but once you get the hang of it, its not that hard. Basically as Lordcrump said, the hardest part is the chest piece.
With Magnus Upside Down, Pull up the front section of the truck cab, rotate the blue side panels that plug into the gun, and pull out the red Shoulder pads with the tires. then you have to flip over the jetpack, and turn the head around and push it in between the jeptpack's stands. so it sits behind Omega Prime's head.
Then just slide the hole chest piece over Optmus so the Pegs on optimus line up with the holes on UltraMagnus. You have to pull out Primes shoulders first.
Its kind of hard to explain. But once you see it it becomes clear.
The legs are rather simple to transform, and the hands, just like in the show, have them shake hands, UltraMagnus's thumb fits right into Primes fist hole. And then just fold the panels out, and rotate them so the holes on the panels match the pegs on Prime's forearm.

Well, what you need to do first is:
1) Grab the top left corner of sheet that says "instructions"
2) Unfold remainder of these "instructions
(Reverse directions to convert back into "storage mode")

oh, oh, oh!!!
Well done sir!!
There's not a transformer I've bought yet I couldn't transform without instructions. I do a mathematics A-level you see.
I expect I may have to break out the instructions for MP-05 Megatron though. You know, just in case...

I meant the trailer/ladder armor. I prefer the cab part as Prime without the gloves, platform shoes and Power Poncho. And lets face it, Omega Prime is the equavilant(?) of wearing you're brothers skin as a raincoat and calling yourself Omega Bro.
Oh, yeah, I only just found out (or rediscovered) that Zod was the name of a GoBot. I use the Superman 2 Zods name. Big difference.

I see. I like his powered up look. But i also like his Normal just the front part of the Fire-truck, look. But since i totally hate the "base" mode *uggh* if you can even call it that. I much rather have him in power up mode than having pieces just lying around.
Ohh and does that mean we have to kneel before you or should we do it afterwards ?
(why does the word "Fire-truck" get censored)

Omega Prime is a nice figure and honestly I consider him to be a show piece figure for a collection. I got 2 sets of prime and ultra magnus misb in a massive armada, rid, beast wars(about 40 figures misb and mosc) lot on ebay for about 100 dollars.
Positives
-He has much more articulation than some of the other bigger primes (Powermaster and Armada Prime to name a few)
-a solid toy
-and anybody who likes or knows about transformers will know he is optimus prime
Negatives
-you had to buy two leader class figures to really get the true worth for the toy
-the flimsy waist
-ALL RID transformers had difficult transformation(to this day I still don't think I have transformed Megatron into all of his 6 modes)
but overall I suggest this figure to anybody who wants to get into the hobby.

I had a hell of a time the first time I tried to put RID Ultra Magnus back into alt mode. He must really like his robot mode or being linked to Prime cos he just wouldnt go. The rear section kept popping off the front. In the end I just wrapped him in half a roll of sticky tape.
Kidding about that last part, even the sticky tape couldnt keep him together.
