Correct. The movies did a piss poor job at laying it out. If you are inclined to reading at all, check out the official novelization of Revenge of the Sith. Does an excellent job of laying it out. Even how Obi Wan triumphed through training and not power, and quite a bit of luck.
Anakin is the most powerful Jedi ever, though he lost much of his power after the Mustafar fight. “More machine now, than man”, thus loosing the title to his son.
Luke is the second, and Palpatine is the third. There is an argument for Leia being as strong as Luke, but her potential was never realized.
Any idea where Anakin Solo would have landed if he'd survived and realized his full potential?
Anyone else get a look at the new type of Star Destroyer that's going to be in Episode IX? It's supposed to be Palpatine's personal ship and be equipped with the laser from the Death Star. And it looks kinda like a hammerhead shark.

Sounds suspiciously like the Eclipse-class Star Destroyer from the almost 30 year old Dark Empire comics.

Episodes 7 and 8 pretty much killed this part of the story for me. I will probably still see this once, maybe at least the ending will be decent, I heard George Lucas came back to help write it. But as far as I'm concerned, the saga ended with ReturnofTheJedi. I would love to see more standalone films though, or at least a sequel to Solo.

The Mandalorian Chapter 5 spoilers:
Anyone have any theories on who's boots those were at the end of the episode? I'm betting on Boba Fett. Tattooine seems like a very specific choice for the episode and Boba has been implied to be alive in current canon. Cad Bane is also a cool theory I heard thrown around but I think it's a little less likely.
How many of you are genuinely excited to see episode 9 because it's a Star Wars movie, or you're just going to see it to finish the story, but you don't have much faith in it?

I'm looking forward to it, but I didn't think Last Jedi was too bad, wasn't the best but not the worst. Been funny though watching arguments on twitter about it, and people burying their heads in the sand when faced with the argument that Abrams helped mold Last Jedi into what it was.
Is it too much to hope that arguments like that will end after next week?
