Voyager megs came in the mail the other day and i was able to make a contact with a fellow collector that works at my local tru he held a wheeljack back for me . Nice figure by the way. He was telling me a little about Soundwave being such a hard to find figure due to people somehow being able to lift them from back room boxes

I picked up Soundwave today. He's awesome. His neck hinge bothers me and I wish he had light-piping, but otherwise he is really cool. I need to get Megs next. Hopefully Targets by me get him soon, don't wanna pay TRU prices for him.

So far I've picked up the FE Bee, Arcee and Starscream, the RID Bee, Cliff, Wheeljack, and the RID Voyager Prime and Megatron figures. All good stuff, but Cliff and Jackie are my faves so far.

I've warmed up to my Soundwave

Especially after I figured out how to fix his neck - after his head pops out, push it back a little, then close the backpack, and it holds it in place - you'll see a little tab that catches the back of his head.

I got FE Cliffjumper from a friend in canada - still, after $16.95 shelf price, sales tax brings him to 19.95. Then around $15 to ship. $35 beats $45 from eBay - but not so much that'd I'd beat myself up for buying one on ebay. He looks so pretty in his box... haven't had nerve to open him yet.

I was able to grab the lone PRID Voyager Megs from a TRU in CT today! :KREMZEEK:

I didn't even plan on stopping there, but my wife wanted to go to the mall and said the kids could stop at TRU.

I was hoping for Soundwave, but there Megatron was in all his silver and purple glory! He's such a fun figure with a really interesting transformation.

Prime RID toys have yet to let me down. I haven't found one I don't like. Last one to pick up for Wave 1 is Soundwave!

Grabed Voyager Prime and Bot Shots Optimus and Starscream.

The Bot Shots are adorable <3 And Voyager Prime isn't too bad. I think I might take some red paint to his chest though, haven't decided if I want to bother or not. Truck mode is really pretty spiffy, but the bland gray torso in robot mode is something of a downer when everything else looks nice (dinky "gun" aside)

I can't believe I actually managed to find a FE Arcee at my local hobby store! While a little on the small side compared to her ROTF deluxe cousins, she's a thing of beauty. Seriously, the kibble on her back is easily forgivable compared to the ones on the RID version.

Really love the included display stand; while it's kind of flimsy and unstable [it's a piece of folded cardboard, after all] it gives the fig a real sense of exclusiveness.

Success!!!

Hit a local TRU last night and picked up 2 Soundwaves, 3 Wheeljacks, 1 Voyager Prime, and 1 Cyberverse Vehicon. Prices were insane but I'd rather get them while I can and not miss out. Hasbros disastrous distribution has got me worried these days.

I'm looking to trade the extra Soundwave and Wheeljacks as I'd rather help a fellow collector than see them go to a scalper.

Picked up TF Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Megatron at Walmart a few hours ago. Really great figure. The little bit of back kibble lays flat against his back in several different positions. Shoulderpads slightly inhibit arm movement, but the rest of his articulation is great. This figure has fantastic lightpiping. Eyes, torso, and forearms all feature translucent purple plastic, making for a creepy cool Dark Energon glow when you put a light behind him.

Found Wheeljack at Walmart (last one), and one cliffjumper was there so I grabbed him too.

Now, I open Cliffjumper right up - because I haven't had the nerve to open my First Edition. Hmmmm. Maybe I will open my FE. And - I'm sorry to say, there is just no comparison. I'm gonna be returning "Sir Hollow" as soon as I can.
