I really hope Brawn is a new mould, he needs it. TFCC Barricade is one of my favs so they would have to make a new one pretty great to replace it. They already showed Rung's alt mode, it was the club/blunt beam type thing Swerve used to beat up the side of Paddox's head. But I doubt that is its only use, hehe.

Yeah, but considering, before legends nemesis, it was (I think), nemesis leobreaker, and armada nemesis prime, in the last 15 years, I think we could stand to get at least a couple.

And, as mp 10 black proved, the paint scheme can be made in such a way that it doesn't seem lazy (those subtle, yet incredible teal accents)

I mean, no one says you have to buy every nemesis type character that TT makes, but, being able, and knowing, that you can choose your fav mold, or coolest update (aoe nemesis for me) is really nice


And really, I don't want to hear "reeks of laziness" until we discuss this issue of 9+ seekers across 3 size ranges in the last couple of years (foc, legends, leader, armada)

True, but I don't think Hasbro is renewing that name to release a new version of an Armada minicon or make an addition to the expanded universe of the live-action movies. Fallback has been a replacement name for Outback, yes, but it doesn't mean it has to be forever. Maybe it's not trademarkable anymore for some reason. Other characters have gone through multiple renames over the years too. "Fallback" as a new name for G1 Outback is as good a guess as any at this point.

I'll buy any Black repaint with Pleasure there are people who collect such things with pleasure - I'm one of them.

You can blame things like Nucleon Quest Super Convoy or Black Landcross & Six Turbo for that I guess as much as the more usual answer which would be Nemesis Prime is cool.

It's OK that there is lots of reasons for things to be Black too from the simple Stealth Explanations to exotic armours.

Also I like that Black Reral Rex - and I'm still very happy to see repainted official toys too. I'm not the sort of person to complain every time Soundwave gets a Black paint job - I'll positively welcome it for the Titan Wars one too - seems like a shoe in that Blaster and Soundwave will get their usual repaints at some point either from Hasbro or Takara.

I'd be quite happy to see the rest of the Minibots repainted Black too but that is a conversation topic for another thread.

2. Frenzy and Rumble have mixed up their colors so many times that any toy of one (maybe except the movie Frenzy) could be repurposed as the other. So that means that with the rumoured TW Rumble, you have Frenzy.

Some interesting things here, always happy to see the terrorcons get more love, and I think people would be disappointed if predaking was anything less than titan class

black isn't a very good deco. it's actually a lack of color. almost as bad as grey transformers.

Trust me I love Seacons as much as the next guy but I don't know if titan class would be right for them.

Why? It would be easy to do with them what they did with Devastator, which is basically make oversized versions of the G1 figures.

I know it would be easy but it wouldn't really fit. Devastator was the first combiner so him being giant kinda makes sense

Once again, I must ask, why? Is his size different to commemorate him being the 1st figure? If they had done 6 deluxe figures instead of 6 voyagers, he would have scaled better with the other CW combiners. He still would have been larger, but it wouldn't have been so bad. Maybe 6 deluxes couldn't work design-wise. Who knows. We got what we got, and I think just about everyone is happy with him.

I don't think they will either, but if they did, I think 5 deluxes and 1 voyager would be the way to go, because even though 5 members make up the gestalt, the limbs and the weapon are interchangeable, IIRC. I haven't owned this figure in a long time. I would love to see an update, though.

Then **** man why are you arguing with me about this? The Hasbro designers themselves said that devastator was made the size he is to commemorate him being the first combiner. And Predaking was the largest g1 combiner so that leads me to believe that if they're doing him again it's going to follow the originals. Or maybe not, I could be completely wrong but it's what I THINK will happen. That's it.

Loved the Swerve mold so if Brawn uses that mold I'll be happy. If it's a new mold I'll still be happy as long as it measures up to the original Swerve mold. And come on Outback!

I'd love to see a Generations/CW take on Abominus - here's hoping...
