wel one had a hand that was not molded right and would not let you move the fingers and the other would not shoot the missle also there is a possible variant being that i bought 2 ult. bees and one had blue eyes and the other one had purple eyes at all time also the auto detecting stuff does not work vedry good

Did you buy yours from abroad? or was it the american one?
Because a friend of mine MAY have bought it for me, LOL, and i dont want her to have spent a lot of money over something that wasnt that good.
I mean, LOOKS wise, do they look good? Both of them? Which is better? or just ALL ROUND coolness without the bugs.
Just pretend yours didnt have bugs.... which is better?

Go for the 08 bumblebee deluxe, It way cheaper, which means it's more rare, The ultimate bumblebee is like $80 so not everybody is going to buy it up, even though they put out 2-3 at a time.
In other words, spend time getting the 08 deluxe, and the big one will still be on shelves waiting.

Have not found the dleuxe yet, but I bought the ultimate. The missle doesn't fire that often (which may be a good thing) since I was dinking around with it and all the sudden it would raise up and shoot me in the face. I fear transforming it since I did it once, and there are already stress joints on one of the inserts. I also think it would have looks a heck of a lot cooler had it come with two hands rather than the cannon and came with the battle mask somehow. I do like it for display, but am hoping to find it this friday at TRU so I can use my 20% off coupon and take the one back that I alrady have to make it a little less expensive. I think I will enjoy the purchase a lot more if I save a couple bucks.

77 bumblebee. these 'updates' of classic cars are just so bland and similar to each other- i.e. all the updates look the same whereas the classic versions were all different
