War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
Re: War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
Did this same guy break the news on every Generations release this year? I'm reading back through a UPC/EAN thread and it looks like he has everything announced this year a few months ahead of official announcements.

This guy seems to find all of the Walmart stuff. The Target listings from a few days ago were from another guy.AcademyofDrX wrote:Did this same guy break the news on every Generations release this year? Re: War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
Gotta admit, it takes some of the fun out of the visual reveals, but I have a planning document for figures I'm going to buy that ends before 2021. Looks like I can start filling out next year, too.
Really excited about Huffer and Pipes, they're the last two minibots I need for a full Generations lineup. (The CW ones are no good, sadly.)
Also where the heck is Skids??

Re: War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
I was initially disappointed with Arcee and Wheeljack likely being re-releases, as the deluxe class has been the most consistent in getting new figures and hasn't had any re-releases in the next line yet. I hate the thought of losing some deluxe slots. But, with the Netflix line and SS86 also having some deluxe slots available, I guess it really isn't like losing those slots, they will just get filled elsewhere.

Who knows, maybe we'll finally get the Cybertronian Wheeljack everyone has been begging for for the last two thirty six years.

I think there is still some deluxe spaces not sure on voyager spots though. It depends on what class they stick him in

I could've swore Wingfinger was a name that's been used before, I searched it on TFWiki and looks like it's not. Any guesses on what Ractonite could be?
As far as other characters, I have no interest in Huffer or Pipes, I'm disappointed that Wheeljack and Arcee are (potentially) just getting re-released, but I'm happy for what few Beast Wars characters we have got in the Deluxe line-up, and Shadow Panther is a lovely surprise.
I'm definitely getting Cheetor, Blackarachnia, Scorponok, Airazor and at least one Fossilizer (which ever one is the best looking). Tracks, Warpath and Shadow Panther are maybes, I'll only get Waspinator IF he's an improvement over the Thrilling 30 toy, and I'll only get up Slammer IF the Kingdom Titan does turn out to be a new Metroplex.

I've been keeping track of these leaks/rumors in a Google doc. If 16 Deluxes is accurate (based on earlier leaks/rumors), there's one open slot left. I would bet it's Terrorsaur since he's on the promo poster.

The TFW leaker has said that Terrorsaur (along with Inferno and Tarantulus) isn't in the mainline.Twitchythe3rd wrote:Autobot N wrote:He'd be a Deluxe since both of the fan polls that he lost were for DeluxesZeroWolf wrote:Tuned Agent wrote:Autobot N wrote:Transformers: War For Cybertron: Needlenose Gets the Shaft Again Even Though Tracks Is In the Line

Though as with Elita-1 and Bee, doesn't mean we won't see them in the Netflix line. Though Inferno may be harder since he'll require a new mold.

So, now that we know basically the entire line, I figure I'll make a list of what I'm getting so far.
Definite Buy:
Optimus Primal
Cyclonus
David Kaye Megatron
Ultra Magnus
Will likely buy, but will need to see pics first:
Fossilizers
Warpath
Slammer
Maybe:
Airazor
Galvatron
Pipes
Rhinox

Some confirmations from the leakers, albeit nothing major given what occurred today:
-Wheeljack and Arcee are confirmed ER rereleases (BORING)
-Ractonite is the Fossilizer formerly codenamed "Catbone", but does NOT turn into a saber-toothed tiger like someone assumed from the Catbone name
-Blackarachnia looks more show-accurate than they expected
-Still no sign of Tarantulas, BW Inferno, or Terrorsaur, but the leaker doesn't have access/knowledge about any of the exclusives, so hope is not lost
-Wingfinger, despite also being a pterodactyl, looks too bony to be a Terrorsaur pretool due to his nature as a Fossilizer (at least in the main leaker's opinion)
-Combination of Slammer being a retail release, the main leaker having to assume what allegiance the Titan is rather than outright knowing, and another leaker confirming the Titan to be something that wasn't done before all but confirms that the Titan is not a Metroplex 2.0 and is still very likely to be a transforming Ark or something else unique
Also has anyone sent this batch of leaks to news yet?

Since four Leader slots have been filled, I guess that means Rodimus Prime would have to be the Commander class figure.

If it's the ideal Rodimus with a big honking trailer and such, I think it would be quite welcome, I wasn't really feeling the POTP mold as Rodimus (by the pictures I didn't get that version) although I grabbed the Unicron one while it was on sale and kinda like it as that version.
And normally I gladly gobble up the repaints.

So happy to see Airazor on there! Curious about that Starscream listing... repackaged Earthrise figure like Optimus or new figure entirely? Or maybe it's a Starscream-colored Waspinator!
