Washington State Transformers sightings
Stopped by the new Landing Target in Renton and noticed that all of the Evolution 2-packs were gone. There were about 8 remaining two days ago....it was the grand opening of the store and it was of course packed. I guess they were scooped up by grand opening/christmas shoppers? Also I've heard they are on sale for $15.99.
Are they also scarce at other locations?
Maybe more will get put out on Tuesday with the dvd among other figures? Regardless to whether or not people score the ratchet and/or megatron figures at BB, overall tuesday sounds like a great day to hit all the stores.

BB 2-Pk
I think someone on this forum was looking for the Robot Heroes Scream/Mir. set, there was one at Redmond Target yesterday.
Redmond Fred Meyers had one Leader Optimus, as well.
Every Walmart, TRU, and Target in the north end looked pretty much picked over. Of course, I'm also not looking for very much...
On a side note, has anyone seen the BB 2Pk that did not have bent side and front panels. I must have looked at 20 packs at 4 different Targets and have found all were dinged and dented. I only wanted it for my sealed set, but for now I'll have to pass.
Maybe the upcoming Target exclusive Infrared Titanium Prime will be worth getting...

So what version of the movie is everyone getting? I'm torn between the BestBuy Exclusive and the Target Exclusive.. It would be nice to have both but I'm sure the BB exclusive will sellout fast. Plus I can't see myself spending over $50 for 2 of the same DVD.

Budget dictates what I get, and since I have Bestbuy giftcards and want the exclusives, I will probably just get the regular at Bestbuy (maybe the two disc) and the Metallic Figs if they are there and look good. Not too into Robot Heroes, and if I had one, I would probably have to buy them all. The transforming DVD case at Target just doesnt interest me. Still playing with toys is one thing, playing with a cardboard box is just silly.

Hey Cyberjet, thanks for keeping your eyes open for the Robot Heroes. I was the one after Starscream/Mirage awhile back, trying to get all 3 G1 Seekers RH Style. Not so worried about it anymore. If I come across another one, that's cool. If I don't, well the money should probably be going into my gas tank anyway.

I hate to ask, but if anyone goes to the Best Buy in Lynnwood or Bellevue could you post the quanity of Metallic Megs and Ratchets they have? I've heard they're only getting something like 10 per store.
That will determine if I'm going to try to race down there after work or just pick up the Target DVD.
Thanks in advance!

Went to Puyallup BestBuy today, got there at 9:57, and they were sold out of Megs and Ratchet. Only saw about 7 of the figures total, and they were gone before the store even "opened". Not too happy about that one.

Same deal for me... went to the southcenter BB and they only had 4 figures (2 ea). I was only able to snag ratchet and i believe 'versa' got the megatron... some other 'big' dude rushed in and got his hands on both. i asked the cashier why they didnt have more... said they had a toal of 7 but 3 were sold before the store opened. i think they actually have more in the back and will bring them out at a later time so the kids in school have a chance too..
there were about 30-40 people standing in front of the store when i was there. most were pissed that they didnt get a figure.
even though i got a ratchet, im still very disappointed! oh well...

I called some Best Buys:
Lynnwood: sold out (they said they had 10 to start, but they were all gone after 10 mins of opening)
Bellevue: no answer
Seattle: sold out (they said they only started with 4 and they also went quick
Woodinville Target is sold out of the BB 2-pk, so currently you can't get the special that came with that figure.
This is horrible...

I got to the Lynnwood Best Buy at 10:16 and they were sold out of the figures. They told me they only had 4 as well....said they have about 600 at the warehouse but only got 4 to sell, to check back later.... F!
So I ended up with:
Wal-Mart 2 pack
Target Transforming DVD
Suncoast Decepticon 2 disc tin
Suncoast Autobot 2 disc tin
HDDVD version with Best Buy Megatron Lithograph
Thats a lot of $$$ on the same DVD...but I had a weakness for these exclusives.

Well, don't know how true this is, but I was in Best Buy Puyallup tonight again on a completely different issue (fridge issues), and asked them about the toys shipping, they said that they are just gonna be showing up periodically. Also, I was emailing someone last week to change my reward zone address, and decided to email him back about it (I consider this damn near a bait and switch, without the switch part). I think they knew that everyone would be running specials on the movie and have their own gimmic. They put the add in full well knowing that they had nowhere near the supply of the Megs and Ratchet.
However, as nicely as I worded my letter to them, I have a feeling they got a lot of complaints about it, and are just gonna send out a bulk letter. When I emailed them last week about my reward zone address, they replied saying that my question would be answered in 24 hours. After emailing them today, I got an email stating "due to unusual email volume, your email will be answered within the next 4 days."

Almost picked up another copy of the DVD (Transforming Case) today at Target...I passed for now. If I go on Friday I'll probably pick it up. I was surprised to see no restock of Transformers at Toys R Us today. However, it looks like the DVD was selling well, they only had three left on display (Toys R Us).

So, I am looking for suggestions. I finally sold my extra Leader Class Prime to someone on Craigslist. Turns out, it came without one of the rubber smokestacks. I live in Puyallup, and the guy I sold it to lives up in Seattle (so I want to avoid driving up that way again, met up in Southcenter this time), but I don't really want to screw him over on the deal. Does anyone have any suggestions, or know anywhere up that still has Leader Primes in stock that he could exchange it with. Not sure this will be an option, cause I don't want to send him out on a chase, and not sure exactly where in Seattle he lives.

Dang, haven't seen a Leader class prime in awhile...a long while.

If the Prime you sold him was MISB, it really isnt your problem. he should take his lumps and consider it a rare defect. did he open it already? if he didnt, he should keep it sealed. if he did open it, who's to say he didnt break it?
I know you're trying to be a nice guy and do the right thing... once and a while you got to look out for yourself.
here's a suggestion. however you must have a receipt from target that shows purchase of any leader class figure.
Target is the only store that I know that lists the DCPI on their receipts and not the bar code number on the boxes. If you bought a leader prime at walmart and a leader brawl at target, you can return the prime to target no questions asked. i know this for a fact because i just returned a protoform starscream to target last night even though i bought it at fred meyers.
make sense? probably not. sorry, im sleepy

Wish I had known that point before I sold this one. I would have returned my extra Prime at Target and gotten a Leader Megatron. I am pretty sure the one I sold him was defective cause he said that the other smokestack comes out easily, I pulled on mine and it seems like they are glued in there.
