My wife wants to leave the windows in my son's room open all the time. His room is Batman themed and I have put shelves in there with a ton of mostly Batman, DC and Marvel toys (yes, TFs too).
I'm thinking of putting clear, UV blocking window film on his windows. Would this be enough to prevent the windows from damaging the toys?
Something like this:

Thoughts or suggestions?

It may minimize the yellowing process but that's just it, it will eventually degrade/corrode or whatever term is available.

I recently realised that my BT Meister has yellowing. I'm a sad panda.

I wasn't clear, by open I mean open the curtains/blinds, not the actual windows.

My understanding is that it's the UV light that yellows the plastic, so UV protection should do the job.

My understanding as well. Hence, I was really surprised I couldn't find anything online where anyone had tried this before. I will be trying, but obviously I won't know if it worked for a long time..

If it's UV light that's the problem, you should consider minimising any fluorescent lights as well
Beast Hunters is coming. Well played Mayans.
