Besides liking a lot my HA Bumblebee, I also get annoyed by the exposed seats in Robot-mode. I even thought myself of chopping-off part of the seats, but I'm not brave enough for that :-)

What I really would like to see as a solution for the seat issue, is an up-grade provided by a third-party supplier: new seats that fold (like in HA Barricade) for both arms, plus a right hand to be plugged into the plasma cannon. It shouldn't be difficult at all to manufacture such up grade !

I did this to the seats:

and I"m happy with him. Maybe they should have made the backrest a bit shorter so the arm bits looked better.

BB's just a lot sleeker looking without the seat backs. Just don't get rid of the missle holders, as they form the rocker panels in car mode.

Thanks a lot for posting the pictures !

Both modifications (painted seats and chopped seats) look great. In the case of the BB with chopped seats, is it still possible to place Sam inside the car as a driver ?

Generally yes, since the seat surface is still there. But the backrest is gone, so he doesn't plug in anymore. It wasn't an issue for me though, as I took my Sam and Mikala figures and put them in my chopped 2000 Pontiac Firebird model. And Bumble never makes it to car mode anyhow.

If you're going to chop them off, do it above the molded concentric circles to preserve the accuracy to the CGI.

I made it. It's got a wire frame so it's poseable as well. I can make you one for about 30GBP.

Congratulations, you did a very good job. As I said before, the toy looks great after the modifications.

About buying a "BB right hand", right now it's not the best time for me. Thank you very much for offering such possibility.

I'm still busy acquiring the remaining HA figures of my interest (Jazz, Skids and Mudflap) and because of my self-imposed monthly budget for TF Toys, I only would be able to invest in such great upgrade after the collection is complete.

Thanks again. We keep in touch ...

In my opinion on this line from best to worst is:

Jazz
BB
Barricade
Sideswipe
cant really comment on Skids and Mudflap cause i dont have them and dont care for them.

Also, can someone provide the link to SS backpack fix as well?

So far I've only got Barricade and Sideswipe, and will probably get Jazz too.

My favorite is Barricade as it is the most movie-accurate of the line, and probably one of the best designed. Everything fits perfectly in the vehicle mode, there are minimal cut lines and giveaway signs of the robot mode. The articulation in robot mode is just amazing, and it's able to achieve most of the dynamic poses that its onscreen counterpart can.

The best thing I like about this one is that its 'interaction feature' for the passenger figure is subtle, and can be kept out of sight to maintain its movie-accuracy, unlike the other figures of the Human Alliance series. It is also the single one in the series where the 'Human Alliance' is non-human, but ironically Frenzy's inclusion makes more sense than any of the others. With the exception of Sam Witwicky, does any of the other human characters spend any real time with the TFs they are packaged with? Bumblebee's always either getting shot up, maimed, or being berated for saving Sam, so there's really not much value to that alliance either

Since the demise of the Alternators line, nothing has really come close to realistic vehicle/transformer quality since the Human Alliance line, and Barricade gets my vote as the best of the lot.

I only collect TF from the movies toy-lines, so I would like to see released ...

Jolt (with Leo maybe)
Sideways (with Alice maybe)
Soundwave with Ravage and the very-thin small decepticon ( I don't know his name)

However, if Hasbro is willing to release some bigger vehicles, it would be awesome to have ...

Ironhide (with Epps and Lenox maybe)
Ratchet (with Sam and Mikaela maybe)
Rampage (with Sam's parents)

But I don't even know if the HA toy-line is profitable enough to survive until TF3.
Hasbro doesn't even care to distribute them in parts of Europe, like the Benelux where I live.
I'm buying HA via on-line shops only ...

^Reedman.

And yeah, if they created a larger size scale, I'd love to see...
Blackout & Mustache Man (who I think they should have done with Barricade)
Megatron & Archibald Witwicky
Optimus Prime & possibly a Transformers 1 style Sam.

I don't know that that's ever been confirmed. I think that was specualtion based on a pre-order from BBTS which may have been a bit misleading. Man, that is total BS on Hasbro's part. Looks like they're starting to pull the same kind of crap those HACKS at Mattel are infamous for-poorly distributing certain products in the line so obtaining them is either a huge, expensive hassle or impossible altogether. Now there's going to be a nice hole in many people's HA collection due to these idiotic shenannigans. Real nice, Hasbro! :-x

Well that's just not prime.

I'll be checking Marshalls and TJ Max tomorrow, but if I don't see him there, I'll just suck it up and head to ebay. What kills me is that I actually like Mudflap, and I bet some #$&#!@ who hated him probably got him for retail price. Then again, a good chunck of the aforementioned #$&#!@ probably overpaid for him too. Still...

Amen brother that is some BS. Why drown us in deluxe Mudflaps we don't won't and not give us the HA Mudflap we do? What the hell are they thinking?

I'm only now starting to look for HA Mudflap, but I just find it for sale at ebay.

Does anyone know an European-based on-line shop to recommend ? The two ones I know ( Archonia in Belgium and Kapow-Toys in the UK) don't have HA Mudflap available anymore.
