How much is "a lot of money" is somewhat subjective. I did my time in college with good grades and an advanced degree, had a good run at a successful business until I got tired of it and went on to my current career. My wife and I both make a respectable amount of money. My priorities are covered (family, food, mortgage, car, savings, investment portfolio, entertainment, etc...) so I can afford to indulge every once and awhile.
Educate yourself, do well at whatever it is you love to do (hopefully it is something that pays $), and you can afford the life you want to create for yourself. I had little to no support financially when I moved out at 18, not even for college, so I made my own way and worked for what I wanted. You can too

Wow. I just wrote this page long story about how I got into Transformers, but when I hit submit I got an error saying no post mode specified. Oh well, I'm not going to write it all up again!
I understand where you are coming from Bigdaddy, and even though I quoted you as the starting point of my last post, I meant it for anyone who cared to read it.

Amen. A good education gives you a lot of choices in life, one of which is to buy things that you want. It's great!

Yeh recently i was on amazon and some guy was selling G2 Bumblebee, hubcap,Beachcomber and Seaspray, all mint on card they set me back £9 a peice.
And then the other day i went to toysrus, and got Commemorative edition soundwave and Reissue prowl and skywarp, costing me about £54.98.
I just opened my Skywarp and soundwave today, and just trying to resist Prowl.
And this is all uni money so i got to be careful in the future, can't go out drinking to often anymore

i'm trying to slow down as it is.
All i did was set some goals for myself, and stick to a budget. I think that realistically, it will take years upon years to stop completely, if at all. And so, i believe a phase-out system spread out over years would be the easiest way. I'll just limit myself to the following: Completing the movie line as i had already set out to do as of a year before the movie even came out, and getting new year's sky linx, and masterpiece releases.
I am very thankful for the new animated series; it should help me not buy anything for a long time hopefully

I owe $3000+ on my visa. I'm 26 now. I started as a kid with beast wars mom sold them all so i replaced all of them. Then the movie came out. Then mighty mugs. Then Revovlotech.
then the 2nd movie. I discoverd all the Primes I missed and got them ALL! I have every fansproject add on or thrid party add on. If my electricity shuts off at least my Tformers will keep me warm. This **** sux.
